Meet Our Staff

Tammy Christensen, H.I.S.

Tammy Christensen was born and raised in Tacoma, WA. She attended Bates Technical College and graduated in 2001. She moved to Enumclaw, WA, and purchased a small farm. She has been practicing as a Hearing Aid Specialist since 2001. Tammy joined AudioNova in 2013 and currently works in the Auburn and Enumclaw clinics. Her specialties are tinnitus, geriatrics, and pediatrics. She provides excellent patient care and is passionate about going out into the community to spread hearing loss awareness. Tammy is also known to still, on occasion, also to do home visits if needed. She is dedicated to helping others and providing the best patient care. Her other interests are traveling and spending time with her two children and four granddaughters.

Unfortunately not Deaf/hard of hearing friendly. The staff will not follow through with set communication plan when asked to text or email for communication. They agreed in person and yet refuse to email or text. I arrived on set scheduled time, the place is closed. I realized this is closed more often than not. Not conducive to trouble shooting in the moment when needed during a set time of office hours. The audiologist charged for items that are typically free with the purchase of a pair of new hearing aids. (From 30+ years of past experiences of customer service from an audiologist.) I will not recommending this place of business to my community, and will be looking elsewhere for services and actual opened business hours as stated. Unfortunate especially because of the clients they serve- not accessible at all. So odd.

Scheduling was super simple and without a hassle, so that was a plus from the beginning! Nathan was great to work with and was flexible when I needed to stop my hearing test midway. He let me know first appointment that I could upgrade to new hearing aids and it was one of the best things I heard in a long time! He was so helpful with explaining to me what I needed to know about my test as well as the new hearing aids. The process was easy and provided a great outcome! Would highly recommend going here.

Special thanks to Tammy, at the Enumclaw Branch of Puget Sound Hearing Aid & Audiology! Thanks to her friendly and knowledgeable help not only was she able to check and let me know that my insurance covered the $500 costs of re-programming high quality hearing aides that were given to me, but I was able to walk out of the office WEARING the updated aides - able to hear properly again for the first time in too many years. I've already referred several friends!
