Meet the Staff
The audiological staff at AudioNova have been proudly serving the residents of Abingdon for many years. We are a vital member of Abingdon's vibrant healthcare community and take pride in providing world-class hearing care locally.
- Matthew Sabo, Au.D., CCC-AMatthew Sabo, Au.D., received his Doctorate of Audiology from East Tennessee State University in 2021. A native of Bluefield, WV, and a licensed audiologist and hearing aid specialist in Virginia, Dr. Sabo specializes in testing and treating hearing loss in adult and pediatric patients and has an extensive background in tinnitus management and vestibular testing. Dr. Sabo is an active member of the American Speech- Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). He has also provided care at the VA Hospital in Nashville, TN, and worked closely with Otolaryngologists in Lexington, KY. Dr. Sabo enjoys working with patients and their families to find solutions to communicative disorders existing in daily life and prioritizes maintaining a patient and family-centered approach to hearing loss and tinnitus treatment. Dr. Sabo has found that the most rewarding part of his job is seeing the smiles of patients and family members following the treatment of hearing loss and tinnitus. Outside of work, Dr. Sabo enjoys sports, movies, and traveling.
