Wayureeporn Davidson, H.I.S
Wayureeporn Davidson, also known as Uree, is a dedicated Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) at AudioNova’s North Oklahoma City and South Oklahoma City Clinic. With over 21 years of experience in testing, hearing aid dispensing, programming with many different manufacturers. Uree is passionate about improving the lives of those with hearing loss, helping them hear and understand their family and friends.
Obtained Hearing Instrument Specialist certification in 2009.
Uree’s commitment to hearing healthcare stems from her personal experiences with family members who suffered from hearing loss, including her father, uncle, and mother-in-law. Witnessing the positive impact of hearing aids on their lives inspired her to pursue a career in the field.
Uree’s goal is to help as many people as possible achieve optimal hearing, enriching their daily lives and relationships with family and friends.
Uree finds joy in seeing the positive impact of her work on patients’ lives, particularly the moment when they experience clarity and understanding with hearing aids for the first time.
When she is not working, Uree enjoys traveling, fishing, playing cards and spending time with her friends and family.
Melanie Chevis, Au.D.
Mary Chevis, Au.D., also known as Melanie, is a Doctor of Audiology at AudioNova in Oklahoma City. She specializes in audiological evaluations and hearing aid fittings, with a career dedicated to helping patients improve their hearing and quality of life.
Originally from Opelousas, Louisiana, Mary has extensive experience in the field. She served as a Speech Pathology/Audiology Supervisor at a facility for individuals with developmental disabilities, providing audiology services and hearing aids under a state contract for seven years. She also worked as an Educational Audiologist in Louisiana schools for six years and as an audiologist for a private practice in the Rio Grande Valley, offering services to ENT offices across the region. Most recently, she was a Doctor of Audiology at a busy ENT practice in Lawton, Oklahoma, where she fit and dispensed hearing devices to patients.
Mary holds a valid dispensing audiology license in both Louisiana and Oklahoma. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1985, followed by a Master of Science in Audiology from the same institution in 1988. In 2004, she completed her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University/Arizona School of Health Sciences.
Her passion for audiology is driven by a deep love for helping people hear better and live more active lives. She finds deep fulfillment in seeing her patients’ reactions when they rediscover sounds that they didn’t realize they were missing. Outside of work, Mary enjoys watching true crime documentaries.
