When should I use hearing protection?
You should always use hearing protection when engaging in high-noise recreational activities or work. These activities may include hunting, music concerts, motor sports, and/or construction. Noise-induced hearing loss can result from prolonged exposure to noise or a single, extremely loud event. The louder the sound, the quicker it can cause damage. If you notice ringing in your ears or temporary hearing loss after a loud noise exposure, the environment was too noisy and could be harmful. If that ringing or temporary hearing loss is persistent, it would be a good idea to contact us for a hearing evaluation.
Should I get my hearing tested?
If you suspect that you or a loved one may be experiencing hearing loss, it’s recommended that you seek help sooner rather than later. I have gotten excellent care and advice on improving my hearing and getting fitted with hearing aids at AudioNova. I have an interesting story to tell about how improved my hearing is after getting my phonak hearing aids. I am a recording artist and I was in the music studio with the studio engineer and my music partner. We were down to the phase of listening to the songs that we recorded to see if anything needed to be tweaked before finalizing the recording. While listening to one song, I could hear a sound that I knew didn't belong there. Neither the studio engineer nor my music partner could hear it, but I know that if someone were listening with headphones or earbuds they would have heard the sound that didn't belong there. I asked the studio engineer to listen to each track to figure out where the sound was. It turns out, one of the singers was clearing his throat between one phrase and the next and that's what we were hearing. With the miracle of modern recording equipment, we were able to remove that sound! So, I was grateful once again for being able to hear subtle sounds like this, as well as the beautiful sounds of the birds when I walk in my neighborhood, or the sound of the rain gently falling on my roof.

Kimberly is the best! I took my mom to various hearing centers in the area and I wish I had gone to Audio Novo from the beginning and worked with Kimberly. She was very attentive and genuinely concerned about my mother's hearing issues. She took her time with my mother (95 years old and naturally does not hear well) and worked very well with her explaining all the details patiently with my mom and me. There was no high pressure sales pitch and approach at all, like there is at all the other places that we went to without any resolve. Kimberly helped us (resolved as much of my mom's hearing issues as possible) and was very transparent with us. Kimberly definitely has an "obsession: with meeting the customer's needs. I am a definitely a raving fan!!! Seldom get this type of service, attention to detail, and transparency in today's world!

Kim was great. She provides free hearing screening at the Essig Center each month and afterwards when we decided to follow up for my husband, we couldn't have asked for better service. After a more thorough screening in a sound proof booth, He had a week long trial to see if he noticed a change. We put the hearing aides through their paces; TV, restaurant, church, working with a group of people on a project, etc. We returned the next week to let Kim know there hadn't been much of a change and she was very understanding. She appreciated our honesty and suggested he come in yearly for a hearing screening test. There was no pressure to move forward with purchase. Kim explained everything she was doing and how they hearing aides worked during the trial. I would recommend AudioNovo.

I have been a patient for seven years and feel this is a great pplace for all your hearing aid needs. Kimberly is very thorough and helpful. They do a great job in explaining the product and all the features but more importantly they are there when you have follow up questions. I am on my second set of hearing aids. First pair lasted six years with careful follow up care from Kim. I compared other local providers and decided Connect Hearing and Kim would be would be the provider I preferred.

There is a lot of competition in the hearing improvement space these days. That is one reason I choose Connect hearing. Being cheaper and claiming you are better than the competition is not sound thinking when addressing ones health. Connect hearing puts your health and satisfaction as it’s goal. We had a great experience everyone is so nice, friendly, and knowledgeable in all aspects of the testing and anything about hearing aids. They will recommend if you need a hearing aid but never pushy. They also don't try to sell you one if you don't need one. If money is an issue they will steer you to places(organizations) that will help with you purchasing one. We recommend them very much if you need aid or testing done.

This place is JOKE !!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED !!! I was hired on spot for cleaning and told me they would be in touch with me after they did remodel of store . I offered cheapest prices I could he asked me to do 3 favors I DID THEM ALL ! He asked me write a good reiveiw on Google I did that . He asked me refer 3 people i had 8 people try them out , He asked me do free hearing all for nothing SCAM!! I look forward to coming in cleaning the office but when I called this evening I had some hateful girl answer phone told me if they wanted that place clean she do it her self and Hung up I get people all time turn down cleaning service which is fine but dont pretend you going hire someone after they went through all that work trouble help grow your business SHAME GOD BLESS THIS COMPANY is all i have say I WISH THEM BEST !!!

While you did come in with information for your cleaning service, there was agreement for your services. We took your information out of courtesy and consideration. Hearing loss is a personal affliction that often needs the nudging of family and friends to get people in to seek help.
