Meet Our Staff

Olena Slobodian, H.I.S.

Olena Slobodian, H.I.S., is a Hearing Instrument Specialist at AudioNova in the Austin - Bee Cave clinic. Her clinical specialties include performing comprehensive hearing assessments, choosing appropriate technology to fit clients' lifestyles, and providing ongoing care for her clients. She graduated from Med University in Ukraine, obtained qualifications and skills as an ENT, and studied hearing aids at George Brown College in Toronto, Canada, for three years. With ten years of experience dispensing hearing aids in Canada and the U.S., she is licensed to dispense hearing aids in Texas and is a member of the Association of Hearing Instrument Practitioners of Ontario. Olena is also an active member of the Ukrainian community in Austin and occasionally participates in events that raise funds to support Ukrainian families. She enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with her kids outside of work. She is very passionate about improving hearing health awareness. One of her favorite parts of being a hearing care provider is seeing the excitement and tears in people's eyes when they can hear again.

Olena Slobodian at the Bee Caves office solved my feedback problem in my Phonak hearing aids in about 5 minutes! Awesome customer care. And Paulo at the front desk is very helpful, too. I had to travel into Austin from 60 miles away, and it was worth it!

I needed a broken wire replaced on my Phonak hearing aids. I called 7 places in Austin and EVERY one said all customer service reps busy leave a number for a return call. After 2 hours waiting with NO calls, I tried my 8th call. Connect Hearing on Bee Cave Rd. Surprised by a human answering, I was told to just come in. Within minutes my device was serviced and I was on my way. Very professional and speedy service was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this business

Great experience! I found Connect Hearing from a Facebook ad and was not sure I could trust it and thought it was one of those scam ads. But it turned out that they were great! I had went to another hearing office and did not have a great experience, so going here was a breath of fresh air! The Receptionist was very nice and friendly and Cynthia, the Specialist, was not only friendly but very knowledgeable and experienced. She really had a general interest in my testing and explained everything and answered all my questions. My insurance did not have coverage for hearing aids and they even were able to offer some options that I did not even know existed. I definitely recommend them! Five Stars!
