Audionova - New Braunfels

Loved my 1st hearing aid experience at Audionova! My insurance recommended Audionova My hearing aid technician Rachel Cox is wonderful, and no bull. Told me all the questions I should be asking, setup my older phone to link up to the devices. Everyone in the office was very helpful and I felt comfortable from the first. Was very easy to setup appointments. Thanks guys!

I have purchased many pairs of hearing aids over the years too much disappointment… And my hopes were not high going to my appointment at Audionova Hearing in New Braunfels. But after meeting with my provider Rachel Cox and getting my ears tested, she then allowed me to take a pair of the AI Phonak Sphere hearing aids home to try out for the week before purchasing. From the second I walked out of the clinic, I knew this was going to be different… I’m hearing better than ever. I did thorough research & these are the best hearing aids I’ve tried. I could hear so much better in restaurants and talking to my kids. Rachel showed me everything I needed to know & was very patient with me. She was so caring and kind, as was the rest of the staff. If you need hearing aids & you’re tired of buying junk to help you hear better- this is the place. Thank you 🙏🏾

I am not a fan of this practice since Audio Nova took it over. First, the audiologist told me that if we got the most advanced set of hearing aids for my daughter, they would come with a Roger device free of charge. He then claimed that he spoke to the business manager, who said that because our insurance was paying for the hearing aids in full, we would not get the Roger for free and would need to pay $1,200 for it. He also made a comment that seemed as though he personally gets a bonus off sales, which was weird. I definitely got the feeling that the main priority of this practice was the money, instead of wanting to help children who don’t hear properly. An employee who worked with the prior practice said what the audiologist said wasn’t true and did go ahead and give us the Roger device with the hearing aids, so that was appreciated, since that is what was promised. Fast forward, the practice calls a day or two before my daughter’s next hearing test to cancel the appointment. They say they do not have anyone who sees pediatric patients, but they will call when the newly hired audiologist starts seeing them. They never call. Months later, I see a post that they are now taking patients. I call and leave a message, and never hear back. I call again, and I’m told that they are seeing pediatrics, but it’s cash pay for pediatrics now. I clarified that even though we have insurance, we would need to pay cash. ??? The employee said, “Yes, for pediatric patients.” So, this just confirmed to me that this practice cares more about money than they do about helping a child hear properly.

Rachel was great! She’s very knowledgeable about the product and worked and worked until the loaner pair was adjusted to the correct settings. She’s also very nice and relateable.

I did give you a 5 star rating for the service the testing part was conducted well and I was given good info about services provided. . However I had to wait about 30 min after my scheduled appointment before I was seen. . The receptionist did apologize for the delay.

Toni is very sweet and knowledgeable. She reprogrammed my hearing aids and gave me the new domes which I like a lot. I feel like I will be wearing them more now. She also paired my hearing aids with my new phone. Tank you, Toni!

Kendra does a really good job. The downside of my visits has been that I was seen 20-30 minutes after my appointment time each time I’ve been there. That’s not acceptable to me.

They gave me great service and attention WAY MORE THAN I expected because I just walked in hoping they had time for me. They were extremely busy but they took care of my issue and questions between customers! I was so pleased and HAPPY to wait because I don’t live in the area but was near for a doctors appointment. I love this place. All are great!

The Technician that cleaned my right ear canal, re-tested my hearing, and adjusted ny Phonak aids accordingly did a Very Good Job. She was also informative, knew the product and was polite. Truly a professional.
