When should I use hearing protection?
You should always use hearing protection when engaging in high-noise recreational activities or work. These activities may include hunting, music concerts, motor sports, and/or construction. Noise-induced hearing loss can result from prolonged exposure to noise or a single, extremely loud event. The louder the sound, the quicker it can cause damage. If you notice ringing in your ears or temporary hearing loss after a loud noise exposure, the environment was too noisy and could be harmful. If that ringing or temporary hearing loss is persistent, it would be a good idea to contact us for a hearing evaluation.
Should I get my hearing tested?

The staff at this location is awesome. Lacee is very professional and makes sure that she addresses all of your hearing needs. Shannon is very helpful with supplies and billing. I have enjoyed coming to this office for many years and I intend on continuing to rely on them for making sure that my hearing is the best it can be.

Need more professional customer service at front desk, waited about 15 minutes before I was acknowledged and then to find out I needed to fill out several questionnaire pages after I did pre-registered online. If attendant would have called me in at time of arrival she would have found out my pre-registration did not go through and would have filled those papers at time of arriving and not 15 minutes I sat in the waiting since I was the only Patient there.

Lacee and Shannon are very professional and very caring. I've never had hearing issues until a couple of months ago so I didn't know what to expect when it comes to needing hearing aids. They have been so helpful in this process from choosing my hearing aids and now to help me go through the process of getting maximum results from them. The team at Connect Hearing in Burleson is so wonderful! My father had previously gone to a different hearing care center and constantly had problems with his hearing aids. I took him to Connect Hearing and they were able to get his hearing aids up and running correctly again!

We went to Connect Hearing because my boyfriend's hearing loss had gotten worse since he had his first hearing aid in his left ear over 5 years ago. We met with Lacey at the Burleson office. She tested Tony's hearing and not only had his left ear gotten worse, but his right ear now was below normal. She went over our options with the insurance and explained everything to us. The hearing aids came in and she made adjustments to where he didn't have the feedback/echo and also made sure that he could hear her in different parts of the room while she was talking in a loud, medium or low voice. She took the time to make sure he was comfortable and went over the charging process, etc. I would highly recommend them! Laura C.

I have NEVER been to their place of business however I have tried for more than a year to get my deceased wife name off of their JUNK MAIL LIST. I called and they say that they have no control of the mailings. I received a response from them on March 3,2019. I sent them the information and was assured on Mar 5,2019 that her name had been removed from their list. Today March 26,2019 I received ANOTHER JUNK MAIL from them. Obviously they don't care.

I arrived at Connect Hearing - Burleson today at approximately 8:50 am for my 9 am appointment. I was greeted warmly and invitingly by Kathy Rubis, receptionist, immediately upon entering the office. Check-in went smooth and problem free. Lacee Jones, Hearing Care Professional, met me in the waiting room promptly at 9 am with a handshake and beautiful smile which lit up the room. Her warm and caring manner immediately put me at ease. Lacee led me to an office where I voiced the reason for my visit. Lacee listened intently and was 100% engaged in our conversation. Lacee explained her thoughts, and a few tweaks were made to my hearing aids. I was treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism during my 20 minute visit. I have a follow-up appointment in 7 days. I look forward to being seen again at Connect Hearing - Burleson!!! They are A++++++ in my book! As a side note, I am truly puzzled by the previous review regarding Lacee. The customer care exhibited to me by Kathy and Lacee today (and 2 sets of patients who entered the office while I was bring checked out) is exactly what I expect: professionalism, courtesy, open communication, and efficiency. Businesses can take a page out of Connect Hearing - Burleson regarding their stellar performance and customer service!

Audiologist was alone in the office and could not take the credit card payment of the guy in front of me because she didn't know how. Then, she fixed the problem with my hearing aid. I started talking to her about my sister needing her donated hearing aids attuned to her ears, and she smiled and said they charge $200 per ear to do that if you didn't buy them there. She called it an adoption fee. I said that my sister and I were on fixed incomes, and what are seniors supposed to do? She just smiled. I wonder if she practices that smile in front of a mirror. I suppose the old and poor are disposable. I got up and told her I was leaving and not ever coming back. And I won't. There are plenty of other and much cheaper ways to get hearing aids.

What peace of mind my husband and I have as we embark on our new relationship with Connect Hearing in Burleson. My husband had purchased brand new hearing aides from AccuQuest in Burleson only to find out a very few months after we bought them, they sold their business to Miricle Ear! Let me just say if we had wanted Miricle Ear we would have gone there in the first place. The new Miricle (of course) does not support our hearing aides from AccuQuest. We had heard excellent things about Connect Hearing so we decided to give it a try. Upon walking in for our appointment we were warmly greeted by the friendly office assistant! We waited literally less than two minutes when we went back for our appointment. Lacee met with us and reassured us we could use the equipment we had purchased previously! Wheeew, relief Lacee spent expanded time with us as we start the process of adjustment in my husbands hearing devices. She educated us on what happens when you don’t wear hearing aids (the effect on the brain and hearing) things we learned today we had never been told as the time was never spent to educate us. We are so thankful as we now underestand the process and how working together closely my husbands hearing can be muscular improved! Thank you so much and we will definitely be recommending Connect Hearing to anyone who can’t hear!!!

On Thursday, I had a doctors appointment next to the Connect Hearing Center in Burleson. I had questions about my hearing aids that had not been clearly explained to me; and, went into the office to see if they could answer some of them. I was greeted by Kathy, who was extremely friendly and said she would help if she could. Then Lacy, the audiologist, came out of her office. She was ever bit as friendly and welcoming as Kathy. She made a call to find the answer to one of my questions: and, set an appointment for me to go into the office the following Monday to address my other concerns. I just left her office and am very pleased with the results. Lacy took the time to listen to my concerns and to deal with them. I highly recommend Connect Hearing in general and the Burleson office in particular.
