Dickie Richardson spent quite a bit of time testing our ears and then explaining a great deal of information on hearing aids. I feel that he was very knowledgeable and was giving us good advice on which aids to buy. I must say that I was a bit concerned when he told us the price, but did understand when he told us that there are cheaper units but as far as quality, nothing like the Phonak Audeo I90 - quality usually does not come cheap.

I have had hearing aids for years and these guys are the first place that has helped me hear at 100 percent. The ones they gave me are amazing and the people there couldn't be better so nice and helpful and most of all very patient. Thank you for being there.

If I could give more than five stars for Terryn I would. Yesterday I called to see if she could help me with my mom’s hearing aids. She told me to come right in. She was so great, friendly and helpful. Terryn thank you again for your incredible customer service.

I purchased Phonak aids 10 months ago. I've been arguing with them ever since. The new guy working there, well, I have nothing good to say about him. Including the possibility he has been setting the aids incorrectly in order to pressure and bully me into purchasing a NEW pair. I feel it was on purpose to allow Dickie Richardson to obtain a sales commission at my expense. I had the aids set at another company and it was a WOW moment. Back to a near normal hearing capability. Don't walk away from this company.... RUN AWAY.

Jim is always so nice and helpful. First time I went in I was repairing a 10 yr old hearing aid, he quickly and honestly educated me on replacing. I paid for my new modern aids what I paid for my original aids back in 2024. Very trustworthy man, well educated in devices, always makes himself available to assist. I wouldn’t hesitate referring anyone to him.

I purchased my hearing aids a few years ago from Village Ear. I am very please with the staff and service. They schedule appointments every few months to not only clean them but ensure everything is working properly and make adjustments when needed. Exceptional service!

Thanks to Jim Cone at Village Ear. He first helped my 97-year-old mother-in-law with well-fitted hearing aids and then I also was fitted with a pair. Easy to schedule appointments and always answers all questions.

When I met Jim Cone from the Village Ear at Connect Hearing, I had a new pair of hearing aids purchased from Sam’s Club a few weeks earlier. I was struggling with them and was convinced I didn’t need hearing aids, since I saw no improvements in my hearing. My wife encouraged me to try a different provider. It didn’t take Jim much time to test me and fit me with a pair of Phonak hearing aids. The difference was immediate and surprising. I returned the Sam’s aids. I’ve been amazed at the improvement in my hearing with the Phonak devices. I definitely can tell I’m missing out when I don’t wear them. Jim, a Christian, is honest, helpful and gregarious, eagerly providing any support with fine tuning, cleaning, etc. He is a pleasure to work with. I whole-heartedly give him my five-star recommendation!

I’ve been using them for over 12 years. My first phonak hearing aids lasted all 12 of those. Jim just set my new ones up and they are great.

I've been dealing with The Village Ear for almost seven years now. The quality of the staff there has been outstanding. James Cone and his staff are not only very professional but also very knowledgeable. I go in every three months for a checkup and a tune-up. They always show great concern to make sure that my hearing aids are set to give me maximum satisfaction. I've recommended several of my friends to this location, and all of them have expressed the same satisfaction to me. One thing that I love most about Mr. Cone and his staff is that I never have to sit in the waiting room for any length of time. When they set up an appointment with me, I get in immediately when I show up at that time. This is entirely different from some healthcare facilities.

Only my wife is a patient of Jim Cone, but he is always eager to answer any questions I have about the VA supplied hearing aids I wear. On our last visit to have The Bride’s aids, he was kind enough to check my ears for wax buildup. AT NO CHARGE!! Amazing guy with amazing service.

They always remember my name when I walk in to get batteries. I lost my hearing aids, and they tried their best to figure out how to get them replaced without any cost. it ended up that I needed to get new ones anyway. They gave me the best deal I could get. I have worn a hearing aid. For a long time . When I moved here ,I found The Village Ear and Mr Darby by accident . You don't have to look further for better hearing checks and service . My husband now has had his hearing checked and wears aids . We are both very pleased with the competent, professional and caring treatment WE received. Prior to coming to Villages Ear I did not use my old hearing aids very much. I didn't find them helpful in many situations and many times I could hear better without the hearing aids than with them. I since have found the Villages Ear and Angelo and what a tremendous difference-night and day! I put my new hearing aids on in the morning when I wake up and take them off at night prior to going to sleep. These hearing aids have had a very positive impact on my life. I can now hear conversations both in person and on the phone without having to ask for repetition of a sentence. My husband is most grateful that he TV can now be at a normal level. I had an excellent experience at The Villages Ear,. The audiologist took his time to examine the hearing aids I was currently using and was able to correct the problem I was having with my hearing aid. Also, the Audiologist, Angelo Darby, explained to me that I had features with my hearing aid that no one had previously told me about. The Audiologist then reprogrammed my hearing aids so I could take advantage of the technology that I had been previously unaware of. I must say I was very satisfied and pleased with the service that was provided.

I characterize The Villages Ear as a place of Integrity, Service, and Caring. Last year I recovered from surgical removal of an acoustic neuroma tumor which left me totally deaf in the left ear. As it was difficult to pick up sounds coming from the left side I went to Villages Ear to evaluate what I may need to protect, and if possible, enhance the hearing in my good ear. Their philosophy is to evaluate if a person has a need, and if so, fit them with what will help you “hear better”; not just push devices. I was initially fitted with a Phonak Audeo for my good ear. John Bullington researched the technology available and later fitted me with a matching Phonak bi-cros hearing aid which transmits sound from the left to my good ear. If it didn’t help I could return it “no questions asked”. They pride themselves on having minimal returns because what they recommend you need “WORKS”. Best of all they take care of you for life; not just a one time sale. See John, he will take care of you and you won’t be disappointed.
