I recently went to AudioNova in St. Petersburg and met Dr Ron Hapanowicz and his assistant, Mary. This was my first time at Audio Nova. I have been wearing hearing aids for 5 years now but have been having trouble hearing for some time. Dr Hapanowicz gave me a hearing test and adjusted my hearing aids. He was wonderful. Very professional and thorough. I am hearing so much better now- the difference is dramatic. I also had a small piece of plastic that came off and he fixed it. Dr Hapanowicz is very skilled, kind and caring. I will go to his office in the future. I was thrilled with my experience and I will only use Audio Nova in the future Sharon Mainguy

Called for an appointment, Mary got me in the next day! Met with Dr. Janice. A truly remarkable person and professional Dr. Dr. Janice explained every step of the testing and made it a very productive experience. Once she had the results, she explained it all in detail that I was able to fully understand. Her recommendations were most satisfactory based on my answers to a number of questions. I am probably like many.... I know I need hearing aids but can't really afford them. Finally this year tried a few of the popular more expensive ones on Amazon. I returned them all. I dont need louder.. I need clearer. Audrey was great. I decided on the best they offered. Phonak audio Marvel M90's. Wow I should've have done this years ago. Thanks Audrey for your honest opinion and service. This is coming from a very picky audio musician critic that is always looking for less costly solutions to anything. Don and the group at Sound Advice are the best. They've been taking care of my partner and I for YEARS! Always patient and very caring. I originally didn't think I needed aides (we were there for my partner whose hearing loss is serious). Don let me try some aides for a week or two...couldn't believe the difference! Saved the day when I had impacted earwax in my left ear causing loss of earing last night. Not only do they have the proper equipment to clean your ears instead of the usual flush method but their rates are fair for cash customers but they got me in and fixed up same day. Kudos for job well done!

I had gone to a ENT doctor to have my hearing checked and discovered what I thought to be true: I needed hearing aids. I had decided to check out three different hearing aid suppliers. The first place I went to was quite disappointing. They spent only 20 minutes with me. Besides telling me what the best devices on the market were, very little information was given. I went online, did some research and came to the conclusion that their opinion on the top of the line was accurate. Then I went to Sound Advice in St. Pete. What a different experience! Audrey wound up spending almost two hours with us. She was completely knowledgeable, friendly and understanding. Needless to say I walked out of there with the top of the line hearing aids, so grateful that I was in such good hands. I cancelled my appointment with the third place!

I took my elderly mother in to have her hearing aids checked and wax removed from her ears. Dr. Kelly Murphy provided this service. I found her to be highly competent, compassionate, and patient in the service she provided my mother. She explained every step she needed to take and, I believe, went above and beyond in the service she provided. My mother left the office with much improved hearing which was outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Murphy to anyone with hearing issues!

I am 28 years old and have been using Sound Advice for years now for my hearing devices. I love their entire team and will continue to go there. I recommend Sound Advice highly for all age groups.

When my hearing aid broke and had nowhere to turn in Florida, I found Sound Advice Hearing Solutions and made an appointment with Audrey Hawley to have it repaired. As I was not happy with the hearing aids, Audrey did some testing on them, and my ears, and unfortunately and emotionally advised that I had developed profound hearing loss and was unable to hear speech any longer. She repaired my hearing aid but recommended I see a specialists for a cochlear implant consultation. I immediately rejected her diagnosis and that of four others, as I was certain that I could hear speech. I did however begin to research the possibility of an implant and was ultimately won over and implanted in June. Throughout the journey, selflessly, Audrey inquired about my situation despite there being no money to be made on me as I needed to continue to treat with the surgeon and his practice. I am now four months post activation and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Just this morning I was able to hear the radio announcer in the car which I have not been able to do for at least 15 years. Without Audrey’s help, I probably would have never gone through with what was probably the most life altering experience that I will ever have. She had more of an effect on me than she ever realized. She probably saw me less than any of her other patients but helped me more than all of them put together! Thank you, Audrey, for your genuine and selfless advice. You are one of the few that actually really want to just help people.

I first met Audrey and Don when my Mother was fitted with hearing devices several years ago. Now I am one of their patients. I never considered going to anyone else when I first experienced hearing acuity loss. I am most pleased with my hearing devices and their compassion and professionalism.

I bought my hearing aids from Sound Advice several years ago and have no problems with them. I follow their recommendations for cleaning and visit the office for my yearly check up and birthday cleaning. The owners and staff really care about your hearing health and make sure when you leave the office all your questions and concerns have been answered. A year has past and my tests showed that my hearing has worsen. My 5 1/2 year old hearing aids were not up to the task. Audrey suggested Oticon OPN series. I tried the OPN 2 and was amazed at the sounds I had been missing. I tried them for week and new I had to have them. Thanks Audrey.

Dr. Kluzynski is very good at evaluating your hearing needs and the Oticon Opn product is amazing the sound management is exceptionally better than anything I have tried before. This group have given me great service and products for several years. They are knowledgeable and completely honest and ethical. They solve any issue quickly, completely and always to my satisfaction. I would recomend them highly to anyone!

I had about 5 years of unsatisfactory experience with 2 different hearing aid providers. One was a captive of an ENT and the next a large franchise operation. Bigger was better. WRONG! By pure coincidence I noticed a Sound Advice office across the lot from a bicycle shop we were doing business with. Continue to fuss over the incompetence of the hearing aid industry or give it a shot? I had never even heard of Sound Advice...and the pun is intended. Three's a charm! Very thorough testing and a professional explanation of both the extent and cause of my hearing loss. I took the recommended set of hearing aids for a free one week trial. (Find that deal somewhere!) I returned and Ms. Hawley made an adjustment and I tried that out for a week. SOLD! You can't go wrong with a local family owned business.

I have now worn the products from Sound Advice for 7 years and have never been happier with a product. I is hard to accept aides are needed, hard to spend the money, but it certainly gets one 'back in the game' with very little adjustment other than to say "Wow, I haven't heard that sound for awhile!" Audrey and Don take the time to explain everything carefully and always answer any questions--no matter how trivial they may seem while treating you like a friend. Today, Audrey boosted the capabilities in my aides and fit a friend for her trial pair so her hearing loss will be kept to a minimum. Love the way they do 'business' at Sound Advice!

I have had my hearing aids for over a year. When I first started shopping around my experience was less than desirable until I went to Sound Advice Hearing and met Megan Webb. She instantly put me at ease and answered my questions. I did purchase my new "ears" with Megan. I have been back for follow ups to ensure that everything was adjusted to fit me. At this time I had worn hearing aids for 32 years, unable to use a cellphone or landline except on speakerphone because of feedback issues, the major problem for me was that the providers just wanted to sell the units and did not provide a real after sales service. Im new to wearing hearing aids. I got the Oticon/Near Pro with the blue tooth sound. Very happy with them. Great sound, I can hear sounds that I haven't heard in a while... The staff was very friendly, A relaxing atmosphere. They fully explained everything from the beginning, (how to wear them to how to clean the hearing aids). I would highly recommend Sound Advice to anyone. Give them a try..
