Meet the Staff
The audiological staff at AudioNova have been proudly serving the residents of Boerne for many years. We are a vital member of Boerne's vibrant healthcare community and take pride in providing world-class hearing care locally.
- Grace Rahtjen, H.I.S.Grace Rahtjen is a Hearing Instrument Specialist at our Boerne location. Grace has been in the field of audiology since 2017 and began practicing in 2021. She specializes in adult amplification and is passionate about improving the quality of life for her patients through audiological care. Grace’s favorite part of her day is seeing the joy on patients’ faces when they can hear life again. Grace Rahtjen is a member of the International Hearing Society and the Texas Academy of Audiology. She enjoys attending audiology conferences and connecting with other professionals. When Grace is not in clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and dogs on her property, skiing in Colorado, watching Kansas City Chiefs football games and exploring the Texas Hill Country with family and friends.
- Ashley Cansler, BC-H.I.S.Ashley Cansler, BC-HIS, is a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist at AudioNova. She began her career in hearing healthcare in 2009 when she helped open and operate her family’s hearing aid practices along California’s Central Coast. Ashley holds a degree in Marketing from San Diego State University and brings a unique blend of business insight and clinical care to her role. With over a decade of experience, she has served in both patient-facing and leadership roles, including several years as Director of Central California on the Board of Hearing Healthcare Providers of California. She is also a proud member of the International Hearing Society. After the sale of her family practice, Ashley relocated to the Texas Hill Country, where she is passionate about helping patients reconnect with the world around them through improved hearing. She is known for her warm, patient-centered approach and dedication to quality care. Outside of the clinic, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family on their property, raising chickens, and continuing to grow her small farm.
