- Bethany Gonyea, M.S.Bethany Gonyea, MS, is an Audiologist at the Hilton Head clinic of AudioNova, specializing in adult fittings. With over thirty years of experience, she remains captivated by the advancements in hearing technology and the profound impact they have on patient care. Her journey began with a Bachelor of Music in Piano and Voice from the State University of New York at Potsdam – Crane School of Music in 1991. She later earned a Master of Science in Audiology from Syracuse University’s Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Bethany’s career reflects her unique transition from sound generation as a musician to sound perception as an audiologist. Her favorite moments in practice come from witnessing the joy of patients rediscovering sounds they had long missed, such as hearing a granddaughter’s laughter or the simple crunch of an apple. Outside of work, she enjoys walking, swimming, meditating, and watching comedy.
