Monica Money, H.I.S.

Monica Money, HIS, is a Hearing Instrument Specialist at AudioNova, serving patients at the Alton and Edwardsville clinics. Her clinical specialties include conducting hearing evaluations and troubleshooting connectivity issues with smartphones. Monica earned an Associate’s degree in Applied Science from Ozarks Technical Community College in 2022. Her passion lies in helping patients reconnect with their loved ones through improved hearing. Outside of work, she enjoys walking her dog, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.

It was nothing but a sales pitch. I had an appointment and there was some question about my insurance coverage and I was told “we will clarify this information and give you a call back”. 9 days later I called to inquire about if they had the question answered. I received a call back telling me that she completely forgot and it totally slipped her mind! Not a great way to treat a patient that needs hearing aids. I was also a bit shocked that they would bill my insurance company $13,000 and I would still have basically the same $6,000 bill. Beware

The hearing exam was poorly done. Saying "yes" to hearing a sound provided an unnecessary distraction to the exam. Losing concentration. Go back to depressing the indicator. Waited two weeks for follow up and no calls. Called insurance company and they said they were waiting for mid america to send the paperwork. The agent called mid america to inform them they could move forward. Time for me to find another audiology.

Appt was canceled and rescheduled no physician was present I understand emergencies - don’t schedule an appt if the doc is not going to be there and if the pt has to pay a rescheduling fee then so should the doc
