- Sonja Dean, HAD, ACA, BC-H.I.S.Sonja Dean, HAD, ACA, BC-HIS, is a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist at AudioNova in the Elk Grove clinic. With a career rooted in healthcare, she began her journey at the age of 16 as a volunteer at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in Ft. Bliss, Texas. This early experience inspired her passion for helping others, leading her to spend 12 years in the medical and dental fields before transitioning to hearing healthcare in 2007. Sonja specializes in hearing aid evaluations and fittings, hearing protection, and aural rehabilitation counseling. She holds a certification in Audioprosthology and is a proud member of the International Hearing Society. Her commitment to the field is fueled by her personal experience with tinnitus and her belief in the transformative power of hearing technology. She takes pride in helping individuals with hearing loss stay engaged in their careers, retirement years, and social activities. Outside of work, Sonja enjoys spending time with family, appreciating the beauty of sunrises and sunsets, exploring unique restaurants, and discovering great music venues.
