Meet Our Staff

Roger Johns, AuD, CCC-A

Roger Johns, Au.D., CCC-A, has been helping people reconnect with their friends and family since he began practicing Audiology in Houston in 1998. As a southeast Texas native, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders (1996) and Master’s Degree in Audiology (1998) from Lamar University in Beaumont. He later completed his Doctorate in Audiology (2012) from A.T. Still University in conjunction with the Arizona School of Health Sciences and has specialized in the diagnosis of hearing loss and treatment with amplification for over two decades. His passion and commitment to preserving people’s ability to communicate has been the driving force behind his mission of service to the community throughout his career. He is currently a member of the Texas Academy of Audiology, American Academy of Audiology, and the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Dr. Johns loves living in San Antonio and firmly believes the San Antonio-Central Texas-Hill Country region is one of the best places to reside anywhere! When he is not in the office, you will likely find him outside playing with one of his dogs in his backyard garden or spending time with his family members in town. Dr. Johns and all the staff were very amazing! I am a musician and went to get molds for custom in-ear monitors. They were very knowledgable and experienced on this situation. I was brand-new to the process and when i called Abby at the front desk informed me on exactly what to do. The company that makes the monitors are very particular about the molds that they receive from audiologists and mine were accepted the first time! I have an unusually small ear canal and Dr. Johns and Rachel were able to work with it! If you are looking for custom IEMs then get fitted here!

I am a professional musician and my hearing is everything to me. This clinic is a 10/10. Everyone from the front desk to the medical staff is a class act. Whether it’s ear wax removal or impressions for custom ear plugs or in ear monitors, this is THE place to go on San Antonio. Pricing is very fair and the coffee in the waiting room is a nice touch. I like the people I love being able to use my phone with my hearing aids but they are not as good quality as my shell hearing aids if I could have gotten the shells with Bluetooth I would have been happier

Very knowledgeable. My Widex hearing aides are out of warranty. I thought I would need them re-programmed. I was given a hearing test, to find out my hearing hasn’t changed any. All I needed was a different sized filter! Saved me money! I have seen several audiologists with these current hearing aides, and none of them suggested this filter.
