Dawn Peterson, Au.D

Dr. Dawn Peterson, Au.D obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Illinois State University and her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D) degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences. She practiced several years as a Speech-Language Pathologist before focusing her career on Audiology. Dr. Peterson relocated to Knoxville from Ohio, where she was the Director of Audiology for a busy otolaryngology practice. Dr. Peterson is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She specializes in diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology.

This place is absolutely Awsome I work out in the same park that this place is in I needed a new audiologist cause mine retired I just happened to walk in here so glad I did from walking in (to seeing a smiling sweet lady behind the desk) walking out it was a great experience.Dawn went beyond to fit me with new hearing aids and walk me through everything and didn’t get in a hurry I even had to go back two days in a row Jennifer helped me one of those days and she was great the second day Dawn helped me and took her time to help me through the kinks. I give this place and staff way above a 10.You are lucky to have this staff and I’m Fortunate to have them to!

My hearing test came back pretty normal when I was expecting a decreased hearing ability. The clinician explained that I attention to listening may be my problem due to fibromyalgia and arthritis. I am so focused on fatigue or pain that I might not catch all that is said. It fits and explained a lot. Thankyou.

Overall really great people and good service. I only marked down due to the appointment reminder system. Seems like a text message reminder would be sufficient. Right now someone calls me...and if I missed the call I'm suppose to call back. I would prefer just a text message reminder a few days before. That's the way all other Dr office do reminders.
