Much easier process than I expected. Wendy and Ken are very nice to deal with. When I had a problem they got me in and handled it promptly. The hearing aids work well. I love talking on the phone through them. I didn’t realize how poorly I was hearing on the phone until I got the hearing aids. I recommend this office to anyone who needs to have hearing checked

Was skeptical as to whether I wanted hearing aids. But after being tested and then receiving the two hearing aids, you really do forget you have them in your ears. The volume on the TV is much lower, and during the adjustment time, you hear things that you have not heard for a long time. I love the fact my hearing aids can actually answer the phone, so you are hands free when talking. The cost kind of rattled my back teeth, but then Medicare kicked in, plus I used my advantage card for an additional down payment. The financing I obtained had a 24-month interest free repayment plan - so in all reality, the cost of the hearing aids was very comfortable to pay the balance. Plus Wendy and the doctor are fun to talk with. A very enjoyable experience!

The hearing specialist did a hearing test and did not share the results with me. He then recommended the most expensive hearing aids they had and said I would need to pay him $3,500 now to take the hearing aids home. He did not even put them in my ear. I explained that he was an in network provider and my insurance coverage was for $5,000. He told me my payment portion was $3,500. I did not pay him and left. I called my insurance company and they explained the payment process. The provider fills out a recommendation form from the insurance website with the associated cost. The provider prints the form, I sign it, and the provider uploads the signed form to the insurance company who then issues payment. I called the provider back and the receptionist told me they had uploaded the forms ( strange since I didn't sign anything). I then called my insurance company back and they informed me they had nothing from this provider. I went to an alternate in network provider who shared my hearing test results, let me walk around with the hearing aids in their office, had me sign the form, uploaded it that day ( and copied me) and I had my hearing aids 2 days later after being shipped by the manufacturer to the provider. Be very cautious if you are considering Hearing Health Connection in Monroeville.
