Meet Our Staff

Taylor Mekus, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Taylor Mekus, Au.D., CCC-A graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Truman State University in 2019, then went on to complete a Doctorate of Audiology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She is a member of the Ohio Academy of Audiology and is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Her specialties include diagnostics, patient counseling, and fitting hearing aids. In her externship at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, she gained experience across the full patient lifespan; from diagnosing to treatment. ‘During this practice, I learned how important it is to develop trusting relationships with patients and provide audiological care based on the needs of each individual.’ It is Taylor’s goal to ensure that every patient feels valued and important. ‘I want to give my patients the tools, the expertise, and the follow-up care to make certain they succeed. I became a hearing care provider because I believe in the power of communication and improving patients’ quality of life through hearing healthcare.’ Taylor recently moved to the Columbus area. A native of St. Louis, she moved here for family and the abundance of opportunities.

The staff at Ohio hearing was great, and very helpful. But very disappointed in the company that made my hearing aides. My hearing aides are junk never have been right Paid a lot of money for them and they just keep breaking. Not satisfied with company hearing aides came from. Would not recommend them to anyone..
