Allyson Valentine, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Allyson Valentine is a Clinical Audiologist in Ashland, Ohio. She is a 2014 graduate from The Northeast Ohio AuD Consortium through Kent State University, with a Doctorate in Audiology. In the office, Dr. Valentine is passionate about fitting and measuring the outcomes of her hearing aid patients. She prides herself on building relationships with patients and listening empathetically to their needs and concerns. Dr. Valentine grew up in Ashland and lives there now with her husband and two daughters. Dr. Valentine is energized to reconnect with her hometown community following a 7-year hiatus to Cleveland, while working for University Hospitals. Dr. Valentine looks forward to helping her community hear the best they possibly can!
Orion Poole, Au.D.
Dr. Orion Poole is a dedicated and compassionate audiologist at AudioNova, Ashland Ohio location, committed to helping individuals improve their hearing and reconnect with the world around them. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology in May 2025 through the Northeast Ohio Audiology Consortium in Ohio and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from The University of Akron, where she graduated in 2020. Coming from a family of musicians, Dr. Poole has an extensive musical background that sparked her interest in music science. She played both the violin and clarinet, which deepened her appreciation for the complexities of sound and hearing. As part of her doctoral training, Dr. Poole completed her fourth-year residency at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. There, she had the honor of working with Veterans, providing comprehensive audiologic care including diagnostic hearing testing, hearing aid fittings and follow-up care, vestibular and cochlear implant evaluations, and tinnitus counseling. Dr. Poole brings a patient-centered approach to every appointment, blending clinical expertise with genuine care. Whether fitting advanced hearing technology or guiding patients through long-term hearing health solutions, she is passionate about helping people communicate more clearly and engage more meaningfully with others. The most rewarding part of her job is witnessing the positive impact that improved hearing has on her patients’ quality of life, confidence, and connections with loved ones. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Poole enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, doing puzzles, exploring arts and crafts, and relaxing with her three beloved fur babies—Lucy, Milo, and Kinsley.
