Amber Wilson H.I.S.
Amber Wilson is a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist in our NY AudioNova clinics in Jamestown and Westfield. While working as a Patient Care Coordinator, Amber’s outgoing personality and ability to help patients with their hearing needs inspired her to further her education and earn her dispensing license. Now, as a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist, Amber is devoted to helping her patients reach their hearing healthcare goals and carefully considers her patients’ needs when selecting and fitting hearing instruments for them. Amber loves spending time with her husband and daughter, going camping and enjoying the outdoors together.

When should I use hearing protection?
You should always use hearing protection when engaging in high-noise recreational activities or work. These activities may include hunting, music concerts, motor sports, and/or construction. Noise-induced hearing loss can result from prolonged exposure to noise or a single, extremely loud event. The louder the sound, the quicker it can cause damage. If you notice ringing in your ears or temporary hearing loss after a loud noise exposure, the environment was too noisy and could be harmful. If that ringing or temporary hearing loss is persistent, it would be a good idea to contact us for a hearing evaluation.
Should I get my hearing tested?

The fix of my inability to connect my hearing aides to the ap was corrected but in only worked for three days, They won't connect again. The wax filter issue was solved to my satisfaction.

I am very happy with the warm and excellent service I received from Amber Wilson and her front desk assistant at Empire Hearing & Audiology. I highly recommend their business. My hearing aid needed repair, but because it's an older model the part needed was extremely difficult to locate. Amber made considerable efforts to locate this part. The first part sent to her was incorrect. She persisted, eventually found the right one, and was able to repair my hearing aid perfectly! I can't afford a new one, so her success was crucial to me. I can barely hear without this hearing aid. Amber's front desk assistant was very kind and gracious to me. I had to rebook my appointment because my car's battery died and I couldn't get there, then had to rebook again because the battery charge didn't last. But she put me totally at ease and would not accept my offer to pay for my missed appointments. This is the beauty of coming to this local hearing aid company for service. You are in your own home town and you are dealing with compassionate professionals who treat you as family.

The service was good, but I’m not surely happy with the hearing aids any longer as soon as a three-year warranty ran out the battery started dying so now I can’t even go a full day without the batteries dying and I’m not spending $300 apiece to get the batteries replaced I may have to go somewhere else to look for new hearing aids

Amber was excellent with me. She showed me that she really cares about my hearing. That is what you need because it is frustrating when you can't hear and it's hard to try to explain it. She is an A+ Carol Beckes. Her supervisor. I guess didn't care. I would go to her and trust her 100%.

My husband had purchased hearing aids from another place several years ago. Just the other day he noticed the wire was beginning to break on the one side. He called Valu Hearing in Westfield and they happily said to bring them in and they would see what could be done. I went in that morning not sure if I would have to wait for parts to be ordered. But the gals there took his hearing aid and fixed it right then and now!!! Happened to have just the part he needed to fix it. WOW!!! I WAS IMPRESSED. Again they were such friendly folks to do business with. I highly recommend anyone to give them a call if you need help with your hearing!

Recent visit went very well. Jaime Parasiliti did an A-One job, she is the best. It's a long trip to the office for me, but well worth it. Always get great service. Had several problems with my aids and Jaime, in short order, took care of all of them. It's all very much appreciated. Would not hesitate to recommend Valu Hearing to anyone.

Wonderful people. They go above and beyond to help. My father (96) is visiting from SC. He needed some work on his hearing aids. Valu Services did not sell the exact type of hearing aid he has. We made an appointment at the Westfield office. She helped as much as she could and even though they couldn't do what he needed, she cleaned his hearing aids and gave him some batteries. She wouldn't take payment because she was so sorry she couldn't help him. Definitely call them first for any problems you have.

I would recommend Valu Hearing and Jaime to everyone. Jamie is very thorough and really took the time to explain everything and made sure I was comfortable with my hearing aids before I left. The hearing aids are comfortable and not hard to put in at all. I have only had them for 1day and it is amazing how much I have been missing by not doung this sooner!!!!
