Amber Wilson H.I.S.

Amber Wilson is a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist in our NY AudioNova clinics in Jamestown and Westfield. While working as a Patient Care Coordinator, Amber’s outgoing personality and ability to help patients with their hearing needs inspired her to further her education and earn her dispensing license. Now, as a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist, Amber is devoted to helping her patients reach their hearing healthcare goals and carefully considers her patients’ needs when selecting and fitting hearing instruments for them. Amber loves spending time with her husband and daughter, going camping and enjoying the outdoors together.

Nickolas Sullivan, H.I.S

Nickolas Sullivan currently works at Empire Hearing and Audiology at the Olean, Jamestown, and Westfield clinics. Nickolas is a registered Hearing Aid Dispenser and Hearing Healthcare Provider. Nickolas specializes in performing hearing evaluations, demonstrating the latest in hearing healthcare innovations. He also performs fittings and servicing of hearing aids and other amplification devices, as well as providing necessary education to his patients in their journey towards better hearing. Nickolas received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2013. After graduating, he went through a yearlong extensive apprenticeship and obtained his registration to become a NYS Hearing Aid Dispenser. He began his career in northern New York and is now looking forward to bringing his expertise to those in the Southern Tier. Nickolas is a member of the Hearing Healthcare Alliance of New York. Nickolas is married to his lovely wife, Janine, and together they have a young son. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, staying active outdoors, and watching most sports on television–especially those associated with the University of Pittsburgh athletics. “I strive to educate, support, and empower my patients on their journey towards better hearing by using proper amplification, hearing and communication strategies. Together, we can move towards an easier, safer, and better quality of life for all patients seeking help at Empire Hearing and Audiology.”

My mother is not a patient here, but we stopped in with a maintenance problem. "Nick" very nicely explained what had happened and demonstrated the correct way to replace the ear wax filters. He didn't charge us, and they're working again. Thanks so much!

I was not a patient, but I will be when the time comes. I currently have 2 Oticon brand hearing aids. 2 weeks ago, the speaker and the long tube that goes into the broke. When I looked at Empire they didn’t have Oticon online so I moved on. Well, 2 weeks later I accidentally pulled into their parking lot. Took me a moment to realize it was a hearing aid practice. Well, I thought I’d go in and ask. I honestly was treated like I was long lost family, especially when I told Annie and Amber how I ended up in the parking lot. They made me feel so welcome when I thought they would be the opposite and say we don’t deal with that company, go away. I explained my situation with the Oticon hearing aids, and through the pictures on my iPhone, Amber was able to get the information she needed and look us on the computer and perform some magic. I thought it would at least cost and arm and a leg but it ended up costing less a hand. I was ecstatic. I did have to run home and get the broken hearing aid for Amber, but 15 minutes later, I was done and everything was ordered. It will take a week I was told. Amazingly Awesome on their part. A week. Nope. 2 days. OMG. My hearing is back. I was without for over 2 weeks. You all know the pain we suffer when we are deaf and we keep telling those close to us: “What? What? What?” Well tonight I can hear. I did not know where to turn to. I originally purchased them about 4-5 years ago and about 8 hours away from Jamestown. But 2 days ago I was driving home and enjoying a great cigar. And as I was approaching Empire Hearing and Audiology that beautiful cigar somehow fell from my hands on to drivers floor. Yikes. No one behind me so I pulled into the first parking lot. Yep. Empire Hearing and Audiology. I don’t think that I have ever been treated as nice in ANY medical practice as I was by Amber and Annie. I will most certainly go back there when I need new hearing aids and new parts. And I will tell my aging friends when it is appropriate where they should go. I will tell everyone I know about the exceptional service I got this week from 2 amazing women. Thank you both!
