I was very impressed with staff. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. I was told the appointment would take 75 minutes. It did not. As I do have a mild hearing loss. I did not have to finish out the appointment. Ron was very patient with me and answered all our questions

The staff was very nice and helpful. They were understanding and helpful and didn’t rush me.

We saw Ron at the Wehrle Drive location. He was so nice and extremely patient with my 97 year old Aunt. He fixed her aides and explained the issues she was having with them. He was so accommodating during the hearing test and answered all her questions. When we left she commented how much she liked him.

This is a long time coming! I made a big mistake when I decided to do business with empire hearing and audiology and their financing company comenity capital. I purchased a set of hearing aids from this location and was financed the purchase but not long into the loan I began to have financial difficulties And reached out to empire hearing and comenity capital and I informed them of this in hopes that I could resolve this problem before it got out of control.Both empire hearing and comenity capital ignored my plea for assistance. It has now been 3 years and I don't have the loan paid off and now comenity capital has added $2000.00 to my loan and extending it for another 2 years. My advice to you is not deal with either of these companies. Persistence pays off. My issue has been resolved. Thank you empire hearing!!

I recommend the attention to detail provided by Jennifer Cook, Audiologist at Empire Hearing & Audiology at 61 Wehrle Dr, Cheektowaga NY. She’s very skilled in testing and setting up my hearing aids (Sonova) and helping me with using the TV Interface and even the MyPhonak App. She’s pleasant, patient and efficient and technically smart.

Dr Lou was extremely thorough and professional and did not rush the process. He took time to comprehensively assess my hearing needs and to address all my concerns, and scheduled follow up appointments until we were both fully satisfied with the results. It was a team approach. I am confident that continuity of care going forward will be just as good, as it is obvious that the goal of Dr Lou and his staff is excellence in every aspect of the hearing journey.

So pleased with the enthusiastic response from the doctor at the Buffalo Wehrle Drive office to do a quick repair on a very short notice. He went above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks so much for your service! I'm am hearing better again!

Have been asking them to stop sending postal mailings for nearly a year now. Every time they say they will stop, and add to the do-not mail list again. Monthly mailings have not stopped.

My wife and I responded to a mailing offering a free audiology exam, we made the appointment and visited expecting a hard sell, the staff was great, and Dr. Lou was a consummate professional who completed the exams on both of us and shared with us the results. Fortunately the only recommendation he made was to have another exam in 18 months and that exams are always free. This is a legitimate business and worth the effort to have your hearing checked

Took my mom in as she was having issues with her hearing aids, turns out they needed to be cleaned. Amber was friendly and happy to help upon our arrival. Dr Lou was very friendly, informative and supportive through out our visit. Taking time to show us cleaning etc. If you or a loved one are struggling with hearing, don’t waste any time. Your brain health and cognitive wellness depends on it! Within 5 months, we improved mom’s MoCa score by 3 points. And she enjoys socializing again!

The only reason I didn't give a five is I was greeted poorly. The telemarketing company didn't effectively communicate with the practice. We had different appointment times (I obviously followed what the TM gave me). At first I was told I'd have to reschedule. Also, apparently I was supposed to receive paperwork and didn't.

Louis Billera, Doctor of Audiology did a great job listening to my difficulties with my bluetooth connections associated with my phonak hearing aids. His explanation in detail concerning the problem helped me understand the connection between the iphone and the hearing aids. Louis took the time with me making sure I was completely satisfied with the explanation. I highly recommend his practice. The reason I choose these hearing aids is for service anywhere in the US and I received that today. Thanks Dr. Billera

Dr. Lou is a godsend. My octogenarian mom has bilateral hearing loss, with profound loss in one ear. She could not hear my voice because it fell into her loss range. Everybody else had in her family and circle was ok for her hearing as it was. But not her only child. My mom was skeptical that new hearing aids would work because she had one mediocre experience and one sour experience with two previous providers. I read the reviews of Empire before scheduling, and they delivered. My mom was anxious about the appointment. She so wanted to improve her hearing. Within minutes, or even less, Dr. Lou put my mom at ease. My mom was lost and broken when we came into the office. 90 minutes later we walked out with her hearing beautifully. We chatted all the way home. She told me not to speak too loudly. Dr. Lou is personable, passionate and committed to delivering excellent service and support. He is patient, and unbelievably skilled and knowledgeable in the mechanics and science of hearing. He gave me back my mom.
