AudioNova - Wilmington

There are no words….my elderly mother lives with my husband and me and we were at our wits end with my mom’s inability to hear. The worst part is she had hearing aids, so the poor thing was doing her part. We went to audionova and met with Cassie. She educated us about my mom’s unique hearing needs and provided a miracle for my mother. She can hear us!!! It’s been 2 weeks and the change in my mother’s demeanor is inexplicable. She’s happier, she wants to join us for activities involving others and the overall tenor of our home is miraculous!!! Thank you is not suffice. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!

The highly professional staff, after performing an extensive hearing test, will guide you through the process of finding the perfect hearing device to fit your needs. Their follow-up services also provide cleaning of your devices as needed and supplying you with the replaceable filters made especially for your new hearing aids. Not only that, you will be invited back on a yearly basis, for as long as you own your equipment to make sure your settings are still as they should be. They are worthy of more than five stars! Cassie and Amanda are absolutely awesome! They care about your hearing and make things happen. We bought hearing aids for my wife and I inquired about an adjustment to my VA issued hearing aids. Clarity was a huge problem. Cassie conducted a hearing test then adjusted my hearing aids...she nailed it! The clarity was there, it just needed someone with the skill level to bring it out. We are extremely happy with AudioNova in Mayfair in Wilmington NC. If you need hearing aids, this is the place to go.

I drove 2 hours from Greenville NC to Wilmington NC because I wanted to see a licensed audiologist rather than a hearing instrument specialist. When I purchased the hearing aids, the Greenville office had a licensed audiologist, and it was my expectation that this would continue. The Greenville office no longer meets my expectation. It is my understanding that the New Bern office and the Durham office now lack audiologists as well. Dr. Carol Anne Ford in the Wilmington office was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Her exam was very thorough, and she carefully detailed and explained the results of my hearing tests and the changes in my hearing. I am extremely pleased with the care she gave me and the excellent customer service provided by Amanda at the front desk!

I referred my father to Dr. Alexandrea Schenck at this practice. And let me tell you… the call I received afterward was the happiest I’ve heard him in a WHILE. He was so impressed with her kindness, empathy, openness, knowledge and personality. He said he felt so comfortable and felt heard. I can’t tell you the negative bedside manner he’s received from other practitioners but not from Dr. Schenck. He cannot wait to go back and get his new hearing aids. If you are looking for a new audiologist for yourself, your spouse, your parent I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Alexandrea for treating my father like family and making him actually excited to go to his audiology appointment. Not to mention he drove an hour from Southport when there are much closer practices, he said he refuses to go anywhere else from now on.

Truly a great experience!!! This was my first time having a hearing test. I must say, from the call to make appointment to the follow up visit after testing hearing aids everything was first class. Audiologist, Carol Anne Ford was very thorough & explained in details all questions I asked about hearing aids. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone wanting to keep their hearing health in check.

Recently moved to Wilmington from the upper Midwest. I needed to establish service with an audiologist for a hearing check and service on my Starky Livio hearing aids that were 1 1/2 years old. So pleased with the service and help received from Dr Rickman and the staff at the Wilmington office. Appointments were seamless and efficient, follow up and service of my Livio aids was perfect. I have no negative comments at all.

Amanda and Dr. Rickman are fantastic! They squeeze my client and I in when he's having issues with his hearing aides. He can't move around very well, so they allow me to come on his behalf, when the situation calls for it. They're super accommodating and Amanda is always kind and smiling!

I had old hearing aids that I purchased 10 years ago and they were collecting dust. I contacted Audiology of Wilmington to see if they could be repaired as my hearing was almost gone. The Dr. said that he could have them repaired but the technology was no longer there. After listening to what a new pair would make my world sound like I was fitted for a new pair and I it is so wonderful to hear again! There was NO pressure to purchase and Dr. & Amanda have been terrific! I highly recommend Audiology of Wilmington.

I discovered Audiology of Wilmington last winter through a mail out ad saying 30 day free trial of hearing aids. I had been to several other audiologists in the area so I had a pretty good idea of the price. WOW! no pressure, had the test to balance the equipment, and walked out with a brand new set of hearing aids. I'm totally thrilled. When I went back in two weeks, he showed me how to clean, replace batteries, and general maintenance. They have several banks available for instant funding, and the one I chose has an interest free loan if paid off in one year. I can really tell the difference if I'm not wearing them! The Dr takes time to sit down and talk to you

I met withDr. Rick man two weeks ago and he went out of his way to accommodate my schedule and get my hearing aids in before I left on my trip. This isn’t first experience with hearing aids and Dr. Rickman was so understanding of my concerns and needs. He was patient and extremely thorough and really eliminated any concerns I had over the dependency of hearing aids. I am so happy with the quality of service, products and follow up. My quality and enjoyment of life has improved significantly since I received my aids. Should have done it sooner!

I can hear! These hearing aids are changing my life! Wonderful attentive doctor, great staff, nice clean office - this is THE place to go if you have hearing issues.
