Knowledgeable and caring staff from the front office to the audiologist. Dr.Westall explained everything in language that I understood and made sure I was alright as a hearing aid was the last thing I ever expected to need and yes I cried at the appointment. She offered input and solutions that I could become comfortable with. I could not have found a more compassionate and caring doctor than Dr. Westall. And to you Doctor Westall Thank you! I have known Dr. Kirkland for many years. She has always impressd me with her perfect blend of professionalism and unusually great listening skills. Early on, she helped me understand that if you are not hearing well, you are probably not being perceived as a caring listener to your colleagues, friends, and relatves. I hope that most of us truely feel that poor hearing is a serious disease. That is why God blessed us with Dr K. She has devoted her adult life to helping people become better listeners and, I think, much happier people.

This was my first hearing test administered by Dr. Amy Kirkland. She was very thorough and explained the results in just a few minutes. I would highly recommend her as an Audiologist if you need one, or suspect that you might need one.

I was a little anxious going into this appointment. But the level of support that I felt quickly eased my concerns. The first step was getting to this appointment for the assessment. Now l can say that I’m glad I chose them.

I was looking for a hearing aid that would work with my lifestyle. I was very interested in the lyric extended wear in the canal device. The doctor carefully measured my ear and my hearing and said I would be a good candidate to try that. She inserted the device into my ear canal and so far I’m loving it. So glad I found this group & this practice. The Lyric is working out well (I only did one ear with a device). Dr. Melissa has bee fantastic in making sure I was a right match for the Lyric and has provided great support after insertion.

Dr. Amy helped my late husband years ago with his hearing difficulties after failed attempts at other practices, starting with Costco. I wished we had consulted her earlier and not wasted precious years in our search. She was highly recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. Now it was my turn. I had met Dr. Amy outside the office setting and when she asked how I was, I told her I felt I could hear reasonably well but had trouble distinguishing some words. At her urging I made an appointment. After a hearing test she pinpointed my middle range was affected which resulted in my difficulty clarifying words. We went over her recommendation to fit my lifestyle and placed the order which brings me to my review. I was amazed how easily I adapted to my new “ears.” They are comfortable, easy to charge and take care of. I like the Bluetooth feature so I can talk handsfree on my phone in addition to listening to videos. I know I can honestly say I hear better and it is a relief for me to stop asking people to repeat. I gave five stars only because that was the limit….her practice deserves a definite ten. Her receptionist/office manager, Penny, is friendly, helpful and very patient.

Everything about my visit was wonderful. Dr Kirkland was especially amazing- she was very thorough in her evaluation and very patient and kind when discussing my hearing results. She clearly reviewed the next steps and my options for hearing aids. I am very happy with my choice of hearing providers!

I really enjoyed the one on one explanation about the latest technology for hearing aids. I was delighted to see all the choices I was offered. I never felt rushed. Amy took her time to make sure I understood what choices were available so I would be able to chose the best one to meet my needs. I am thrilled to be at the Doctors Hearing Care. A clear explanation of the testing procedures was given. I then received complete a hearing exam. Following the exam the audiologist explained the results to my wife and I. While I did have hearing loss, the audiologist did not recommend hearing aids at this time. I appreciated the honest and truthful evaluation rather than being sold hearing aids, that would have not been beneficial.

Dr. Melissa Westall is one of the most caring and professional peopel I have met lately. From the first time when I had my hearing test and now with the initial delivery and set up and two follow up visits just great . She takes the time to answer all questions and concerns and doesn't try to act better than you. I would recommend in a heartbeat.

I have only had one pair of hearing aid before I went to Doctors Hearing. Had appointment in timely manner and it was a great experience . I bought that day, loving the thought of no more batteries and very very easy to put in place. The audiologist, Dr. Amy Kirkland, had me in in 4 days time and the whole experience. Has been painless with one adjustment a week later.

The Dr Hearing Center is very professional yet a very comfortable and welcoming. Penny greets you at your car with a big smile underneath her mask, a thermometer and a clip board (at least for now) then she leads you into the office where you are greeted by Amy with her mask and a smile underneath. Yes I wore a mask as well. I would recommend The Dr Hearing Center to anyone with a hearing problem, they are great.

This is my 5th year with Amy Kirkland at Doctors Hearing Care and I can't say enough about her and the staff. They always answer all of my questions thoroughly and keep me on track with my hearing aid maintenance and hearing tests. Penny, the office manager is amazing at running the office and working with all of us providing appointments and equipment when needed. I highly recommend these doctors of audiology for your hearing needs, mainly because of the processes that they incorporate with new hearing aid users so that the adjustment to sound is done slowly. Excellent doctors, staff and equipment!

The new Signia hearing aides are impressive. I can talk to my wife in the car without road noise masking the conversation. I can talk to people on my cellphone and understand them since the conversation is streamed directly to my hearing aides. Much easier having a conversation in crowed places. I have the ability to make adjustments without making an appointment with the audiologist. Recommend them highly.

Phenomenal doctors and staff. You are called back to see the Drs at the time of your appointment, not 15 or 20 minutes later. Very timely.

Dear Dr. Kirkland When I received the mailer from you and Dr. Westall offering to allow me to test the latest product on the market by Resound, Linx 3d, I was curious. If I could interface my hearing aids with my phone and receive calls directly through the aids, it would be invaluable. I had no idea that was just a small piece of the technological advances I would discover. Prior to meeting you, I was very loyal to the Starkey brand. I own both inner ear & outer ear aids, I did not intend to change. I had been to numerous hearing specialists in the past four years in Florida and North Carolina. The last thing I wanted to do was purchase another pair of hearing aids……but if I could improve my hearing, I’m all in! When you first put the Linx 3d aids in my ears, it was shocking to my senses. I could not believe the difference in technology. I am extremely happy with the Resound Linx 3d and I highly recommend that anyone with hearing loss give them a try. One final point. I greatly appreciate that you are available and responsive to my questions in such a timely manner.
