Kayla Thompson, Au.D., CCC-A

Kayla Thompson, Au.D. views her work as a series of partnerships where she supports each patient along the path to hearing better. Fueled by the words “I can hear again,” she loves to hear stories about how patients are able to interact with their loved ones–as well as get back to doing what they love. And she can directly relate to her patients. Ms. Thompson has experienced hearing loss firsthand and personally dealt with difficulties resulting from it. She also understands the impact that hearing loss can have on a family, since she’s watched her father struggle with his hearing throughout her life. At work and beyond, Kayla is known as thoughtful and personable. She always puts on a podcast as she drives home to her husband, daughter, and their two dogs. She loves spending time with her family, whether it’s watching movies or going on long walks together. Education: – Missouri State University, Doctorate of Audiology, 2022 – Missouri State University, Bachelor of Science, Communication Sciences and Disorders, 2018

Very nice and knowledgeable. The hearing aids I just got are so much better than the ones I got a year ago. I was in my yard and was actually taken back by all of the birds singing and sounds I had been missing. I love them. Very pleased. I was missing a lot, but not anymore.
