When should I use hearing protection?
You should always use hearing protection when engaging in high-noise recreational activities or work. These activities may include hunting, music concerts, motor sports, and/or construction. Noise-induced hearing loss can result from prolonged exposure to noise or a single, extremely loud event. The louder the sound, the quicker it can cause damage. While it took several calls (both from me and my insurance company to get an isitial appointment) and no notification as to when my hearing aids had arrived, I found Jessica and Donna easy to work with and knowlegable. I am adjusting well to my first pair of hearing aids, thanks to Jessica's professionalism and caring.

Hear Michigan Centers Did An Excellent Job Helping Me Get The Hearing Equipment I Need.. Jessica fought like a soldier with grace and enthusiasm to fix a mistake that held me up. Because of Hear Michigan Centers My Quality Of Life Is Much Better Now That I Can Hear Everything Better. Not only did it help raise my self esteem, it was the boost in confidence I really needed. People don't realize how uncomfortable it is being around people you can't hear. Getting words and sounds mixed up really made me not want to be around others. Hear Michigan Centers changed that. They couldn't fix all my hearing issues. What they did is definitely a game changer. You can't buy that kind of help. It only comes from people dedicated to honestly helping you. I recommend Hear Michigan Centers to everyone.

I wasted several hours of my life attempting to work with this business and I would recommend you go anywhere else. The receptionist "Donna" is very nice and helpful but that it is where the positives seem to end. Sent my grandfather here to have a hearing test and receive hearing aids covered by his insurance. Was promised originally that he would leave with trial hearing aids. His first appointment was rejected as they said he needed his ears cleaned, ok fine. Second appointment he received a tremendously sub par hearing test (comparing with the next place I sent him), they didn't offer trials to take home. They didn't have anything but over the ear trials and my grandfather was interested in an in ear device, but nevertheless, no offer or attempt to fit him with a device that they had. Audiologist said she needed to reach out to manufacturers to see if the features that he wanted were available in such a device. When I called to complain originally of this experience the audiologist was very rude and headstrong. They never called him back with any information on the device he was looking for. Several excuses about the person who does this work being out sick (I guess for almost 2 weeks now). Audiologist is rude and doesn't know the device market apparently. They scheduled him for a 3rd appointment to come in and try the device they should have offered him or at least made him try on the first time. After all this I sent him to another clinic, he got a hearing test quickly, got a trial to take home and devices ordered for receiving within 7 days. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Will be calling to cancel my order. Hearing aids delivered were refused—Medicare approved delivered entirely different from the ones I thought I was receiving. Not contacted to see if I was willing to pay extra for the rechargeable ones I thought were ordered. Waited over a month. Will take my business elsewhere

Had an appointment for a checkup. No one was in the office and was informed by the acupuncture receptionist that that they aren't even in the office that day of the week. Got no call that my appointment was changed or that the office had moved.

I went with my mom to get hearing aides checked after a long time of buzzing hearing aides that she could not hear, we went to see Ryan , he really wanted to help her by making some adjustments, he was so patient and fixed the annoying buzzing , my mom is very happy she hears much better. I have been going to Hear Michigan for a few years now. I have mainly dealt with Lyle and he is always friendly and does his best to make your hearing better and your hearing aids fit properly. I would highly recommend Hear Michigan.

Update: Sept. 2022. Set up appointment for a small repair on my aids. Was told they should have no problem with this repair. At my appointment I was told they did not have the part and would have to order it and had no idea how long it would take to get the part. After a little search, I found a audiologist that fixed the aid in fifteen minutes. They did not have the exact part but used another one that worked nicely. This is not the kind of service I have come to expect from Hear Michigan. Always professional. They take care of all my hearing needs. Highly recommend. Jan. 18, 2021 My five year old Phonak aids needed repair. I called Hear Michigan at 9:00 am. They set me up with a 9:45 app. the same day. By 10:30 they had repaired my aids and I was ready to go. Thank You Lyle and Ryan. What a great experience. Service doesn't get better than that.
