Meet Our Staff
Nicole Wormell, H.I.S.
Nicole Wormell, is our newest Hearing Instrument Specialist, a recent graduate of the AudioNova Training Program and a new member of the International Hearing Society. Nicole has lived in Michigan her entire life. Besides serving as a player agent for her local Little League, she is also co-president of the waterfront Field of Dreams group. Playing softball and spending time with my family while camping are two of her favorite things to do outside of work.

When should I use hearing protection?
You should always use hearing protection when engaging in high-noise recreational activities or work. These activities may include hunting, music concerts, motor sports, and/or construction. Noise-induced hearing loss can result from prolonged exposure to noise or a single, extremely loud event. The louder the sound, the quicker it can cause damage. If you notice ringing in your ears or temporary hearing loss after a loud noise exposure, the environment was too noisy and could be harmful. If that ringing or temporary hearing loss is persistent, it would be a good idea to contact us for a hearing evaluation.
Should I get my hearing tested?
If you suspect that you or a loved one may be experiencing hearing loss, it’s recommended that you seek help sooner rather than later. Hearing loss tends to develop gradually and is often noticeable to close friends and family well before the affected individual realizes it. Identifying and treating hearing loss promptly is crucial. Ignoring it could lead to significant long-term effects, such as increased risk of depression and dementia.

Dr Kelly is excellent! She takes all the time you need to explain every facet of testing, fitting for hearing aids, differences between types of hearing aids, and most importantly how they work once your hearing aids have been placed into your ears. Dr Kelly made all the necessary adjustments so that my first week will be a success. Along with all of that, she asked that I pay attention to 2 key areas during this first week of wearing hearing aids in order that when we meet she can further refine adjustments. Hard to pinpoint Dr Kelly's best attribute, as every part of my journey has been excellent, but it could be her genuine excitement for me and with me knowing I am hearing better than I have in a very long time!

Service excellent. What stinks is going in for 5 minute repair and having to pay 20 dollars. Spent thousands to get hearing aid. Still paying more to get a simple wire changed on my hearing aid. Was there for 5 minutes. 20 dollars charge for 5 minutes work amounts to 240 dollars per hour. I can't afford you guys. My next set of hearing aids I will get the Wal-Mart special for 200 bucks. You price your self out of business, my business anyhow..

Sold me these Starkey hearing aids after hearing test. Now claim can't fix ringing problem with these hearing aids. Suggest new hearing aids after hearing test. I walked out with no adjustment or test.
