Meet Our Staff

Elyse Russell, H.A.D.

Elyse C. Russell has been a licensed hearing aid practitioner since 2006. Before entering the hearing health industry, she was a science teacher with degrees from the University of California at Santa Barbara and Aquinas College. When you step into her offices in Hastings and Grandville, MI you can tell that Elyse still takes every opportunity to educate people. She is knowledgeable about hearing loss and passionate about the importance of keeping hearing in the best condition possible. She is an avid outdoors person who enjoys camping, fishing, and playing soccer with her three children and dogs.

My hearing aid stopped working on vacation. I waited until I got home and took it in. The ladies in hasting foud that my hearing aid was working but had a short in the ear piece. Time 10 minutes. Excellent people.

An audiologist does initial testing. Someone else sets it up with audiologist’s direction. Then the 3 appts to check in and fine tune are done with person who works the computer. There’s a gap where more direction should be. I want an audiologist to be helping me adjust, answer questions, explain thoroughly. Felt as though there was information gap. Really good info on site (Tru Hearing).. learned that tinnitus program can really help.
