Elyse Russell, H.A.D.

Elyse C. Russell has been a licensed hearing aid practitioner since 2006. Before entering the hearing health industry, she was a science teacher with degrees from the University of California at Santa Barbara and Aquinas College. When you step into her offices in Hastings and Grandville, MI you can tell that Elyse still takes every opportunity to educate people. She is knowledgeable about hearing loss and passionate about the importance of keeping hearing in the best condition possible. She is an avid outdoors person who enjoys camping, fishing, and playing soccer with her three children and dogs.

I have been working with Michigan Rehabilitation Services to get assistance with the cost of my hearing aids. Everytime I have asked them to get information to Michigan Rehabilitation they have dropped the ball time after time. It has been 6 months since this process started and I in am still without new hearing aids. My old ones are now toast so I have no hearing aids to use at work, making my life much more difficult. Needless to say I will not be using them in the future! Once again, after sending e-mails and speaking with people on the phone, being told that it would be taken care of that day, 3 days later Michigan Rehabilitation services is still waiting for a recommendation from Elyse. Whatever you do, stay as far away from this place as possible. I have never seen such atrocious customer care and follow through in my entire life. If I could give negative stars I would.

I had problems with a new phone which turned out to be defective. The folks here in Grandville spent a lot of time helping me determine the cause of the problem. The new phone was defective. They happily pairs my aides to the second new phone.
