Nicole Wormell, H.I.S.

Nicole Wormell, is our newest Hearing Instrument Specialist, a recent graduate of the AudioNova Training Program and a new member of the International Hearing Society. Nicole has lived in Michigan her entire life. Besides serving as a player agent for her local Little League, she is also co-president of the waterfront Field of Dreams group. Playing softball and spending time with my family while camping are two of her favorite things to do outside of work.

I went for a hearing test at my family's request. The results were normal, with small issues in a couple frequencies. I was encouraged to have testing annually, but there was no pressure to purchase hearing aids.

Made an appointment time. The Dr. saw me within 15 minutes of my arrival which allowed me to fill out their paperwork. A very in-depth discussion ensued about my current hearing aids and how I feel about them. Secondly I took a hearing test and discussed the results with the Dr. She replaced the tips and filters and installed many upgrades. I’m so grateful for the results and time spent with me. The store is run very professionally and with a high degree of technical competence. Appointments are kept on schedule by a staff that runs the operation with military precision which may intimidate the super seniors that have been in a casual and relaxed environment. I’m 75, 15 years out of “The Machine” (work), I found the style “just right”. Get in, give me what I need and I’ll call if I need help. I don’t need “touchy feely”. It seems like a substitute for something more important. My single recommendation, which is not critical to over all quality of product is that customers are not greeted immediately upon entering the store. That’s ok at Walmart (it’s not, but I don’t have the time to go in to that here) but hearing aids are a significant investment and the customers should be treated with the same level of quality as all the other tasks. I would buy there again and recommend.

I bought a brand new set of Oticon hearing aids in South Africa - because that is where we spend the winter, and the left hand receiver failed a few days ago. So went to the Charlevoix center and met with Nicole Wormell. Nicky could not have been more helpful - she called Oticon USA, who of course had no record of my purchase, she gave them the serial # and date of purchase -clearly under warranty, and Oticon agree to ship a new receiver cable under the warranty! Nicky was persistent and made it happen! So thank you Hear Michigan Centers and Nicole Wormell!

They were great at trying to solve my bluetooth problem. They made several calls and tried several avenues to fix it but unfortunately my phone was unable to connect to my aging hearing aid. Over the last 10 years they have taken great care of my hearing health.

I have had four appointments at the Michigan Hearing Center in Charlevoix and I could not be more impressed with the accomadating service which I have received with each visit. Nicole is very attentive and a good communicator with various adjustmennts that I occasionally have needed with my Starkey hearing aids. I am so happy to not have to send my aids back to Rochester MN when Nicole expertly makes the readjustments and corrections here in Charlevoix. Nicole is very friendly and knowlegeable about improvements that need to be made. Thank you Nicole

Very happy with service from the Charlevoix office! One of my hearing aids (originally purchased elsewhere) quit working. I expected it would need to be replaced. They were able to determine it could be repaired. It was repaired for a very reasonable cost. Repair service was quick. I will definitely use this office for my future hearing aid needs.

Dr. Kelly and Nikki are GREAT to work with! Leading off, Nikki is the smiling voice you will hear (no pun intended!) when you call to schedule your appointment and you will quickly come to appreciate her bright, cheerful, and accomodating personality. She is diligent in everything she does to ensure the "behind the scenes" details are taken care of so you don't have to worry about them! Next up is Dr. Kelly... She is EXACTLY who I needed taking care of my hearing after a frustrating experience with my previous audiologist. Not only is she very friendly and caring, but when it came time to choose the type of hearing aids to get, she clearly explained why my old style was completely wrong for my type of hearing loss. Being in sales and public speaking, I, in full vanity, wanted something just in the ear canal that no one could see. The result? Sure, no one could see them, but they didn't fix the issue so I stopped wearing them. Had I known about and seen Dr. Kelly in the first place, the added expense and frustration would have been avoided! Don't let that happen to you! Stop reading this 5-star review and start dialing to schedule your appointment! Oh yeah... She has multiple offices throughout Northern Michigan so you have easier access to her expertise! Now call them already!
