Concept of Iowa in Grinnell is terrific! The hearing aid provided is the best my husband has ever had/used - and he has tried many varieties over the years. The friendly and knowledgeable service offered by Kathy Shaw is top notch!! Kathy always takes the time to help him. He is an 84 year old man with advanced Parkinson’s Disease so his needs dealing with the ongoing upkeep of small hearing aid parts is greater than many others. We are so grateful to Kathy and do recommend Concept and Kathy to our friends and neighbors.

Appt with Kathy at the Grinnell office was terrific! Appt started on time, first time check-in was fast and easy, medical tests were performed in a controlled environment, the office is equipped with good equipment, after test reports were presented clearly. For me no hearing aids were required so my experience ended there.

Kathy Shaw spends so much time with me and makes sure everything is up to date and is working correctly. Totally reprograms the aids if they need it, is constantly asking questions about the sound- is it tinny, to loud, not loud enough, how are they in the car, in the wind. I work in a lunch room and was having trouble hearing the kids because of the back ground noise and she is continually working with me to get this perfect!! She is a God send. So happy I made the change to Concept and Kathy. She is the best! Kathy

Very friendly and helpful staff. Kathy is a pleasure to work with and genuinely cares about her patient’s hearing. This is my first experience with hearing aids and she has helped me adjust to my new world of sound. She listens to your questions and concerns, and answers and adjusts as needed to ensure you are hearing your best. They provide a comfortable climate, which put me at ease during the exam, with no pressure after to purchase anything. I am very happy with the service and my devices.

I am so glad I found Concept by Iowa Hearing here in Grinnell - Kathy and Stacy are wonderful. They make sure everything is working properly and I am happy when I leave. I know that if I ever have a problem, they will fix it, and always at no charge to me. If they are not in Grinnell that day, I know I can find them in either Pella or Oskaloosa, and I can see them there.

I really enjoy my hearing aids. Without my hearing aids it sounds like some one has put pillows over my ears. With the hearing aids in it sounds crystal clear. It has four settings that I use, one for while riding in the car, one for in the wind, one for in a restaurant, and then the basic.. The service in Grinnell is great and all I have to do is buy batteries. All appointment are cost free.

Their employees help you by answering any questions you may have. They have high quality products that can fit everyone's needs!
