Meet Our Staff

Kara Mockaitis, H.I.S.

Kara Mockaitis, HAS, HADS, was born and raised in the state of Georgia. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 2015 with a major in Communicative Disorders and a minor in Human Development. Her training began in Georgia in 2016 where she continues to hold a license as a Hearing Aid Dispenser. In October 2019, she moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where she obtained her Hearing Aid Specialist license. Kara specializes in adult and geriatric patients. She has become one of our lead providers in telehealth at AudioNova beginning in January 2022 where she is able to take a hybrid approach to being a healthcare provider in her main clinic in Summerville, South Carolina with assisting patients in our Georgia clinics. A few of Kara's favorite activities include going to the beach or pool, going out on the boat and trying trendy new restaurants. She also enjoys cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Atlanta Braves. "My favorite part of working as a hearing care provider is experiencing patients faces lighting up when they start to hear what they've been missing for however many years and seeing their excitement. I've always wanted to help people and my profession allows me to do so on a daily basis. I get to meet so many different people with so many different stories. I find it all very inspiring and it's why I enjoy what I do."

Great Connect Hearing to go when u having issues with hearing aids. Staff is willing to get issue resolved as fast as possible, you be done in no time. Wonderful , polite, staff .Do 1 on 1 time with staff if you need it. I would recommend this place, patient to come for issues with their ears, wonderful , different types of hearing aids.

I recently had my hearing tested at Connect Hearing in Warner Robins, GA. The testing was very professional and thorough and it was determined that I would need hearing aids. The hearing aids were ordered and arrived quickly. I returned for the fitting and instructions for use, and I am beyond pleased with the hearing aids. The whole process was handled efficiently and professionally by the caring staff at Connect Hearing. I look forward to my next visit, where I will discover how to utilize additional features of these incredible, state of the art hearing aids. I fully recommend this location for the care provided that I experienced to restore new hearing provided with these hearing aids. Just an amazing outcome. Thank you!

My mother-in-law was visiting from P.R. and I found it very difficult for her to hear me although she had hearing aids. I called Connect Hearing and explained the situation and they gave me an appointment the same day. When my spouse returned home with his mom it was a MIRACLE AND IMPRESSIVE what they did for her.
