I have needed new hearing aids for some time, but I have not been impressed with any of the care providers I have worked with and the pressure sales pitch. I was planning to just buy some over the counter units and happened to talk with Emily before I did. She asked a lot of questions and offered some good points to consider before I decided. She offered to meet with me and I actually saw her later that day. She asked questions and actually listened to better understand my hearing aid needs and what was most important to me. It was soon very obvious that she truly cared and wasn’t just trying to sell me a pair of hearing aids. Her knowledge of the products and explanation of pros and cons helped me select the most appropriate product for my needs. Working with Emily and Jamie has been great and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a provider that puts the patient’s needs first.

Connect Hearing has been great to work with. This is my first time wearing hearing aides. I did some research prior to getting hearing aides so I had a fair idea of what type of equipment was available and what options were available. Initially, I decided to go with Connect Hearing because my insurance gave me a break on the price of the hearing aides I was interested in. But I am very glad I chose Connect Hearing because of the great service they have provided. The initial hearing test helped Aaron configure my hearing aides for optimal performance. The fitting procedure for the in-the-ear type of hearing aides was easy and I had the aides in a little over a week. In the meantime, I was provided a set of loaner hearing aides so I could begin to get used to the new hearing and experiment a little with some settings. The hearing aides that I chose (in the ear) couldn't provide a comfortable fit in one ear because my internal ear structure was a little unique. My other ear was always perfect and had no issues. Aaron tried many times to get that problem fit to work out. The company made 6 attempts at making a new aide to get the fit correct. Each time they made a new hearing aide, they tried to modify the design to make the fit comfortable. All of this at no charge. This took about 8 months. Eventually we went with a different model of hearing aide and that solved the problem. The fit was totally comfortable from the first time I used them. Connect Hearing is easy to work with. Aaron has been very helpful and patient in making sure I am 100% happy with my hearing aides and has done everything in his power to make sure I am getting the best performance to help my hearing. Scheduling appointments is a breeze and Sherilyn (patient care coordinator) is wonderful to work with and accommodates anything I need to get a convenient appointment. Follow-up visits have been included in the cost of the hearing aides. These visits really aren't something a company would have to do but Connect Hearing is making sure I am not having any problems, that the settings on the hearing aides are correct for me, and that there are absolutely no issues at all. I highly recommend Connect Hearing to anyone who is considering hearing aides. It has been a great experience getting the exact right hearing aide for me.

Aaron seems to be very dedicated to getting my hearing aids to work right. However, I have had a few problems getting them adjusted correctly. Aaron has told me to give him a call anytime I am having a problem and I will be doing so. I love the product and think it will just be a matter of time before we get them right.
