Don’t make my mistake—Go see Julie at AudioNova! I recently learned a very expensive lesson: even the best technology in the world is useless if it isn’t programmed correctly. I originally bought the Phonak Audéo Infinio Ultra Sphere 90 online. It’s a top-of-the-line hearing aid, and I chose it because of the promised improvements in speech recognition. However, after buying them online to save money, the results were shocking—they actually performed worse than my old pair from Costco. I tried several "tele-adjustments" over the phone, but nothing worked. I felt frustrated and socially isolated. Finally, I decided to seek local help and chose AudioNova in San Marcos because of their stellar reputation. It was the best decision I could have made. From the moment I walked in, the reception was incredibly friendly. I worked with Julie, the audiologist, and she was fantastic. She truly listened to my frustrations, conducted a thorough new hearing test, and made the precise adjustments I needed. She is professional, caring, and clearly an expert in her field. The difference is night and day. My hearing has improved significantly, and I am no longer withdrawing from social situations. The hearing aids finally perform exactly as promised! My takeaway: Sophisticated instruments like the Phonak Sphere 90 only work when paired with an experienced audiologist. You cannot get the proper care you need over the phone. Do yourself a favor: skip the online "deals" and buy from a local expert like Julie at AudioNova. It is worth every penny to have it done right.

Great experience. Reception was friendly and kind and I was able to get in the same day. Julie was wonderful explaining everything from types of HAs to how to use the app, once I selected and was fitted. Entire staff was incredibly nice and knowledgable. Highly recommend.

The staff is wonderful! So patient and caring. I took my Mom (who has Alzheimer's) in for an update hearing exam and new hearing aids. They understood that change for her is very difficult, and went slowly and kept things simple and as similar to her old hearing aids as possible.

My experience with Connect Hearing in San Marcos has been outstanding! Heena is always able to schedule my appointments at convenient times for me, and she never fails to follow up with a phone call after an appointment, just to make sure I'm satisfied. The audiologist, Franchesca, is the best! She is very knowledgeable, has a wonderful personality, and takes whatever time is necessary to ensure that the patient's needs and/or concerns are addressed.

I recently switched from another connect branch - and what a difference! Francesca Siorima is so efficient, polite & knowledgable I'm almost glad to have tinitus :-) Being a millenial she understands the tech stuff intuitively and has helped me get the most from my phonak gear for the first time in 5 years of usage. The ladies at Connect Hearing were a huge help in getting my elderly neighbor a new set of hearing aids after hers went missing. On Monday, April 23, 2018, I received my new hearing aids. Sal Colarusso is my audiologist at Connect Hearing in San Marcos, CA. Sal gave me my annual hearing test and we determined that I needed to upgrade my present hearing aids. I am very pleased with them and find them to be much clearer with less background noise and, I find, my hearing much improved. I would most definitely recommend Sal and Connect Hearing to anyone. I have, in fact, told people and I do hope that they take advantage of it. Sal is a professional and very friendly. This is a great asset to have and anyone who is looking to get hearing aids for the first time would feel very much at ease. I wish to add a review about my visit yesterday. Since this is the only way I can get in to write it here goes. Yesterday was December 27th and Heena very kindly managed to get me in as one of my hearing aids had stopped working. Francesca, who usually works in San Marcos was on holiday but another delightful lady filled in for her. Thank you Heena, you are most professional and always polite and ready to oblige in any way you can. Thank you also to the lovely lady who so kindly fixed my hearing aid in a very short time. I have been going to Connect Hearing in San Marcos and will recommend it any and everyone who will listen. I most certainly give it a five star recommendation.
