I felt like from years of experience David understood the problems I described with my present aids and believed what he offered would realistically help me.

Dave and Tracy are top notch at customer service. Both scheduling appointments and meeting patient's needs are at the top of their goals. Today I needed to my hearing aids to be tweaked after yesterday's initial setup. Tracy got me in, and Dave swiftly adjusted what is needed and more.

Let me tell you. When you walk in, I'm not sure if there is anything wrong,then leave hearing things you forgot existed in your life! I was missing my life. Thank you, Doctor! If you find yourself watching people's mouths to hear you conversations, you should make it a point to see the audio nova doctors. Changed my life.

Referred by Blue Shield and I am more than thrilled with the experience. The most complete and thorough explanation of my testing results I have ever had. Better still are my new (first time) hearing aids. With each visit I am more impressed with the technology they employ and the flexibility to adjust to every new sound environment. There has been NO adjustment period, rather I wear them all day long. The only negative is that I now have to spend a lot of time lubricating and eliminating the source of unwanted squeaks and rattles and sounds around my house I never heard before! I also need a new more quiet computer keyboard!

I bought a Phonak hearing aid through Connect Hearing in Oxnard, in March, 2019. I discovered Connect Hearing though my health insurance company. I hadn't heard of Connect Hearing. So, I made an appointment and met with Steven Kolodin, who dispenses hearing aids for Connect Hearing. He is very knowledgable about hearing aids and has sophisticated equipment to match the Phonak aid I bought through him with the features I desired in a hearing aid. I bought the top of the line Phonak and am very pleased with it. I have been wearing hearing aids since I was five years old. I'm now 70. I have a lot of experience with hearing aids and hearing aid dealers. I have a severe hearing loss. I know what hearing aids are capable of and I know what I want in a hearing aid and how I want to hear. Mr. Kolodin worked diligently with me, giving me the results I desired. He patiently dealt with me with all my concerns and requirements. He worked hard to please me. I truly appreciate his efforts. I highly recommend anyone who is seeking to hear better to go to Connect Hearing and have an appointment with Steve Kolodin. He offers very good service and good products. I would definitely see him for my next hearing aid when I need one. I also purchased from Steve a Blue Tooth Phonak TV Connect device that allows me to have the audio from the TV directly into my hearing aid. What a fabulous item! Now I can have the volume as loud as I need and my husband can have the TV volume much lower for him. I can also still hear my husband talk at the same time. What's cool about this feature is I can watch TV and have the TV volume all the way off and hear fhrough the TV Connect device if my husband is sleeping. I love it!

Having worn hearing aids for many years now, ( the last 3 purchased from Connect Hearing), I wanted to take the time to let others know how very pleased I am with both my newest Phonak Marvel hearing aids as well as the professionalism and knowledge of Hearing Care Specialist Steven Kolodin. I had purchased a new phone and made an appointment to have it synced to my Compilot. Steven took care of it promptly and asked if I needed any adjusting of my current hearing aids, ( which I’d had about 3 years). We discussed a few situations where I still felt a little limited and he brought me up to date on the newest battery-free Phonak Marvel with a 2 week free trial period. I went into it thinking there was going to need to be a substantial improvement for me to purchase them and I was a little apprehensive about not using batteries but I could tell the difference immediately. From the automatic Bluetooth connection from my phone to the hearing aids, ( no more Compilot needed), to hearing the students in the classroom setting so much better, I work retail as well and the kicker was being able to hear a soft spoken customer in a wheelchair when I would normally have to turn up my old hearing aids & still not catch quite a bit of the conversation. I wear my hearing aids from about 7 a.m. to anywhere from 11 p.m. - midnight with no problems in regards to running out of power. Many other situations at home, work and out in the community where I continue to “hear” so much better. Very pleased all around.

I went several years with deteriorating hearing becoming more and more frustrated with various situations....phone conversations, watching TV or movies, hearing my soft spoken women co-workers as well as my grandchildren who have a tendency to mumble softly. I put off going to see about hearing aids because all I seemed to hear is how expensive they were. I did go to one hearing aid specialist who sent me home with hearing aids to try. I couldn't even tell a difference when wearing them and then they wanted to give me a "deal" of several thousand dollars. Needless to say, I did not purchase them. That was a few years ago and my hearing continued to decline so after hearing positive things about Connect Hearing, I decided to give them a try and I'm very happy that I did. I purchased some that connect to my iPhone and they cost 1/3 of what I anticipated. Now I wish I had got them years ago. They make a huge difference. I don't believe I would be able to still work if I didn't have them and my grandchildren are very happy that they don't have to repeat everything that they say!

I would like to first Express my sincere "thank you " to Steven for one of the most professional experiences I have had in a very long time. Steven is just a wonderful person. He is most concerned about fitting you with a hearing aide that will fit your needs and then some. I work with disabled adults and brought my client into Connect Hearing for a hearing test and from the moment we walked in I knew we had chosen the correct place and person to complete this test. Steve is so very understanding ,personal and very attentive. How can one express the words " just wonderful " in as many ways. The experience for my at times difficult client could have not gone better . Steve made every effort to make him comfortable and relaxed during the hearing test process. When we arrived a week earlier for the impression of the ear mold Steven took us right in and took his time a completed not one but two impressions to make sure it was correct. If you are thinking about having your ears tested for a hearing loss then Connect Hearing and Steven is the place to go without question. I was totally impressed by Steven and Connect Hearing I made an appointment for myself.

Steven Kolodin the best I ever met! I have had hearing aids for a long time. I lost one of my newest hearing aids and went back to Connect Hearing. This is when I met Steven (the new Hearing Care Professional) I thought I had good hearing before but, Steven tweaked the settings in a way that vastly improved my hearing. His deskside manner is most friendly and extremely pleasant. His knowledge of the complete range of different hearing aids and options is remarkable and was extremely helpful in making what turned out to be a great decision I can’t recommend him and his office highly enough!

For a long time, I knew I should use hearing aids, but I was not convinced to do so, I could not find a product that convinced me. Researching for a few years I found the office in Oxnard of Connect Hearing, who offered me the brand PHONEX; The high technology involved and the magnificent attention they gave me encouraged me to use this great help for my audition. I really felt a huge difference with the use of my hearing aids, I feel now in this world, I'm not more isolated and no longer have to be asking me to speak loudly or repeat what people said. A few years ago I felt I was slowly loosing my hearing. After some hesitations I found the hearing aid office located not so far from my place and went there. I met Dr. Steven Kolodin and have never wanted to go somewhere else. He was very professional, knew well the hearing aid instruments. After diagnostic tests he gave me recommendations and I bought from his office my first hearing devices. After a year or so I got an e-mail from him about new devices coming on the market. Soon I saw him again and bought a newer instruments. He and his assistant, Kristina, were very kind to me, too. About another year later I urged my wife to visit Steven. She also obtained her devices from him. We both sincerely recommend Steven Kolodin as a hearing aids specialist to those who need hearing help. Excellent service at Connect. Professional and knowledgeable audiologist and/ or technician highly trained. Steve Kolodin certainly one of the best I have ever encountered. Prices are fair and competitive with other companies : perhaps lower and in my case my insurance covered part of the hearing aid charges. Highly recommend!
