Meet Our Staff
Sam Tillman, Au.D., CCC-A
Sam Tillman was born and raised in Joplin, MO. He received his Bachelor’s degree in psychology at Brigham Young University and his Doctorate of Audiology at Central Michigan University. He completed his 4th year externship at The ENT Center/House of Hearing in Draper, Utah. His father’s hearing loss was influential in his decision to work in the field, and he strives to care for his patients as he would his own family. Dr. Tillman has been with AudioNova since 2019 and currently sees patients in the Joplin and Springfield locations. Dr. Tillman, his wife, Alyson, and their twin toddlers now live in Ozark, MO. In his free time, he loves to take his kayak out on fishing adventures or spend time with family. “I feel very fortunate to do what I do for a living. I get to make a very real difference in the lives of my patients—something I try not to take for granted. If I can improve someone’s quality of life, solve a problem, or ease a burden caused by hearing loss, then I feel successful.”
Melissa Morales, BC-H.I.S
Melissa Morales, BC-HIS, is a dedicated Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist for AudioNova in the Harrison clinic. Her clinical specialties include hearing instrument fittings, adjusting existing hearing instruments, and helping clients achieve their hearing goals. She has worked at a clinic in Kansas City as a Hearing Instrument Specialist since 2014 and became Board Certified in 2016. Melissa has been a member of Audiology Online since 2013. She volunteers with her local church and has previously worked in Christian international missions. She aims to provide a personal and positive experience through hearing healthcare with a unique plan for each patient who sees her to reach their goals. She attended Ozark Technical Community College and received an Associate of Applied Science in 2014 in Hearing Instrument Science. Melissa became a hearing care provider because she aspires to connect with her patients and help them communicate more effectively. She is grateful for this satisfying career. Her favorite part of working as a hearing care provider is seeing a new light in her patients' eyes as they hear better than they have in years. Outside of work, Melissa loves spending time with her husband, grown children, their spouses, and their granddaughter, as well as their dogs. She enjoys being outdoors and finds fulfillment in music ministry through singing, songwriting, and playing piano.
