Shawn Langley, H.I.S

Shawn Langley, HIS, is a Hearing Instrument Specialist at AudioNova in the Cabot and Conway clinics. His clinical specialties include hearing aid fittings and tinnitus management. Shawn's mission is to help people hear better and live a life without limitations. Shawn attended Colorado Mesa University, graduating in 2012 with a Business Administration major. Shawn became a hearing care provider after seeing the impact hearing loss had on his wife's grandfather and how he overcame it with hearing devices. His favorite part of working as a hearing care provider is seeing his patients communicate confidently without struggling. Outside of work, Shawn enjoys coaching and playing basketball, playing the guitar, and chess. He also volunteers with Cabot Parks and Rec.

Not impressed. Went in to get my hearing aid fixed and apparently someone didn’t listen to my concerns and didn’t fix the issue and put the aid together backwards. Now it’s in two pieces and I can’t get back before Friday so I’m stuck with not hearing until then. Will never purchase another set from them. Loved sound advice but not audio nova.

I play the piano, and music means a lot to me. I purchased a pair of Oticon More 1 hearing aids from a provider in North Little Rock. I could have gotten a less expensive hearing aid with no out of pocket expense, but I wanted the More 1 because of the rave reviews of the music program. That was two years ago. I lost track of the times I went back to have the aids adjusted because music sounded god-awful. When I played the piano, it sounded WAY off key. Music on the radio sounded bad, and my own piano music sounded awful. I wrote letter of complaint to Oticon, and they said I needed to continue to work with my provider. I had decided that I would have to wait another year before I could get another set of aids, then I decided to change audiologists. Dr Sloan asked me what sounded bad, high notes or low notes, and I told her it was ALL bad. She made some adjustments and sent me on my way. I immediately went home to my piano and the higher notes sounded great, but the lower notes still sounded off-key. I made a second appointment with her and she some more adjustments. Dr Sloan did in two visits what another audiologist couldn't do in a year and a half. She's definitelly got a new patient here!
