Noise exposure is growing constantly both in leisure and work-related settings.¹ The importance of hearing protection is often underestimated: from a level of 85 dB, in combination with an extended
exposure time, noise can result in temporary or permanent deterioration of the inner hair cells.²
To accommodate individual needs, the Serenity Choice™ portfolio of high-end hearing protection offers both custom and universal styles. Serenity Choice™ earplugs reduce noise and loud sounds (from 8 to 22 Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) while keeping relevant sound and speech. By ventilating the ear to prevent a build-up of excess moisture, they allow the ear to breathe.³ There are two types of Serenity earplugs, the Phonak Serenity Choice™ generic hearing protection for occasional use and the Phonak Serenity Choice™ Plus custom hearing protection for frequent use.
Serenity Choice™ Music
A high-fidelity earplug designed specifically for musicians, music lovers, and concert goers to help prevent hearing damage in loud listening environments. The patented filter technology reduces sound to a safe level, making it great for music listening as the listener doesn't lose any of the original sound.
Serenity Choice™ Work
Reduces noise from heavy equipment, machinery, and power-tools and is designed as personal protection equipment for noisy working environments such as machine shops, farming, road building, and construction or any situation where health and safety require the use of hearing protection. Serenity Choice™ Work provides an air passage to the ear, minimizing the muffed effect while keeping the ear ventilated for optimum comfort.
Serenity Choice™ Motorsport
Designed to fit into the ear without catching the helmet liner. It reduces helmet-generated noise to safe levels yet still allows speech to be heard from intercom speakers. It also reduces wind and air turbulence noise and engine noise. General grime and road dirt will affect protective performance, which is why Serenity Choice™ Motorsport was designed to be fully washable.
Serenity Choice™ Hunting & Shooting
Protects users’ ears from the peak sound pressure level of gun shots, fireworks, and explosions. The patented impulse filter technology reduces these high-pressure sounds to safe levels that are less likely to cause long-term hearing damage.
Serenity Choice™ Comfort
A discrete, noise-reducing earplug designed to be worn throughout the day to help with focus and concentration without causing irritation. Serenity Choice™ Comfort’s advanced filter technology keeps an open-air passage to the ear to hear conversations if needed.
