"Meet Kayla E. McKay, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA, Doctor of Audiology at AudioNova in Macedonia. Dr. Kayla received her Bachelor’s in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at The University of Akron in 2010 and her Doctorate of Audiology in 2014 from the Northeast Ohio AuD Consortium through Kent State University. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and ASHA.
Her clinical specialties are hearing aids and hearing loss. One of her main goals is to work collaboratively with her patients to find the best devices that will provide optimal listening experiences for each individual. She finds fulfillment in hearing her patients’ stories of joy and how happy they are to hear again. As a certified Dementia Practitioner, she is passionate about raising awareness of the impact of hearing loss on cognition, including dementia and other mental health issues.
Growing up in Cleveland, she has lived in the region for many years. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband Brian, their dog Emmie, and their families and friends. They also enjoy attending Guardians games and going on adventures together."
