Sandy May, H.I.S
Sandy May, H.I.S., is a Hearing Instrument Specialist at AudioNova in Colorado Springs. She has been helping people hear since 2017, starting as a PCC and then becoming a Certified Audiology Assistant before obtaining her Hearing Instrument Specialist license. She is also a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is dedicated to making a positive impact by helping her patients communicate effectively and improving her own communication skills with the deaf community. Her favorite aspect of working as a hearing care provider is witnessing the transformation of individuals from isolation to active participation in conversations, with newfound smiles and a sense of belonging. Sandy became a hearing care provider because she experienced the profound impact her husband's hearing loss had on his personality, interactions with others, and their family as a whole. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her husband and two dogs, Bruce Wayne and Godric Gryffindor, and loves to travel the world.
