Since 2000, AudioNova is supported by HAL Investments (www.halinvestments.nl), an active long-term investor (with a stake of >95%). HAL is fully committed to assist and finance AudioNova’s growth strategy. HAL invests in a variety of businesses, including dredging, printing, office furniture, personal protection equipment, compact laminate production, oil storage, optical retailing and hearing aid retailing. Most of these companies are among the European or worldwide market leaders in their field.
Buy & build in hearing aid
In 2000, when HAL entered the hearing aid industry, the retail operations consisted of 35 stores in the Netherlands (turnover € 17 mio). Currently, AudioNova International is active in 12 countries (Netherlands, Belgium & Luxemburg, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Denmark, Hungary, Poland, Russia and Switzerland) operating more than 1100 stores with sales of more than € 300 mio. Audionova’s objective is to establish leading positions in the markets where the company operates. Growth in existing markets is achieved by autonomous growth, new store openings and add-on acquisitions. In addition, AudioNova International carefully evaluates growth opportunities throughout and outside Europe. AudioNova has a strong focus on operational excellence, consistently utilizing synergies and implementing best practices within the group.
The position – Online Marketing Manager
To drive its ambitious growth strategy, AudioNova has invested in its online platforms with the ambition to solidify its European market position and to support expansion. In order to support this ambition, AudioNova is looking to attract Online Marketing Managers with a regional responsibility (North West Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, Southern Europe).
We are looking for high calibre people, with an excellent academic track record and 5 to 10 years experience working in online (retail) business.
Profile requirements for the Online Marketing Manager
• Driving online strategy, amongst which:
o Understanding of copy and content management
o SEO and SEA optimization
o Communication towards different target groups
o Social media
o Tracking and analytics
o Link building
• Segmentation and targeted mail actions
o Relevant below the line campaign experience
o Client segmentation
o (Creative) concept evaluation & management of partner bureaus
o Campaign analytics
• Experience with e-commerce platforms
Candidate requirements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Relevant work experience in an online (e-commerce) environment. Naturally, any retail experience is valuable;
• High degree of autonomy, combines strong analytics with a pragmatic attitude;
• Adequate empathy to deal with both store employees as well as management;
• Pro-active, great enthusiasm and ambition.
